2The Lordיָ֔הּYahH3050is my strengthעָזִּ֤י'a.ZiH5797and songH2172,And He has becomeוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961my salvationלִֽישׁוּעָ֑הli.shu.'AhH3444;Thisזֶ֤הzehH2088is my Godאֵלִי֙'e.LiH410,and I will praiseוְאַנְוֵ֔הוּve.'an.Ve.huH5115Him;My father’sאָבִ֖י'a.ViH1Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430, and I willexaltוַאֲרֹמְמֶֽנְהוּ׃va.'a.rom.Mene.huH7311Him.

5The watersתְּהֹמֹ֖תte.ho.MotH8415coverיְכַסְיֻ֑מוּye.khas.Yu.muH3680them;They wentH3381downיָרְד֥וּya.re.DuH3381into the depthsבִמְצוֹלֹ֖תvim.tzo.LotH4688likeכְּמוֹ־ke.mov-H3644a stoneאָֽבֶן׃'A.venH68.

6Your rightיְמִֽינְךָ֣ye.mi.ne.KhaH3225handיְמִֽינְךָ֥ye.mi.ne.KhaH3225, Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,is majesticנֶאְדָּרִ֖יne'.da.RiH142in powerבַּכֹּ֑חַba.Ko.achH3581;Your rightH3225handH3225, Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,destroysתִּרְעַ֥ץtir.'AtzH7492the enemyH340.

7And in the greatnessוּבְרֹ֥בu.ve.RoH7230of Yourexcellenceגְּאוֹנְךָ֖ge.'on.KhaH1347Youoverthrowתַּהֲרֹ֣סta.ha.RosH2040those who riseH6965upH6965against You;You sendH7971outH7971Your burningH2740angerחֲרֹ֣נְךָ֔cha.Ro.ne.khaH2740, and itconsumesיֹאכְלֵ֖מוֹyo.khe.Le.movH398them like chaffכַּקַּֽשׁ׃ka.KashH7179.

8At the blastוּבְר֤וּחַu.ve.Ru.achH7307of Your nostrilsאַפֶּ֙יךָ֙'a.Pei.khaH639the watersמַ֔יִםMa.yimH4325were piledנֶ֣עֶרְמוּNe.'er.muH6192up,The flowingנֹזְלִ֑יםno.ze.LimH5140watersH4325stoodH5324upH5324likeכְמוֹ־khe.mov-H3644a heapנֵ֖דnedH5067;The depthsתְהֹמֹ֖תte.ho.MotH8415were congealedקָֽפְא֥וּka.fe.'UH7087in the heartבְּלֶב־be.lev-H3820of the seaיָֽם׃YamH3220.

10You blewנָשַׁ֥פְתָּna.Shaf.taH5398with Your windבְרוּחֲךָ֖ve.ru.cha.KhaH7307,the seaיָ֑םYamH3220coveredכִּסָּ֣מוֹki.Sa.movH3680them;They sankצָֽלֲלוּ֙tza.la.LuH6749like leadכַּֽעוֹפֶ֔רֶתka.'o.Fe.retH5777in the mightyאַדִּירִֽים׃'a.di.RimH117watersבְּמַ֖יִםbe.Ma.yimH4325.

14The peoplesעַמִּ֖ים'a.MimH5971have heardשָֽׁמְע֥וּsha.me.'UH8085,they trembleיִרְגָּז֑וּןyir.ga.ZunH7264;Anguishחִ֣ילchilH2427has grippedאָחַ֔ז'a.ChazH270the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֖יyo.she.VeiH3427of Philistiaפְּלָֽשֶׁת׃pe.La.shetH6429.

15Thenאָ֤ז'azH227thechiefsאַלּוּפֵ֣י'a.lu.FeiH441of EdomH112were terrifiedנִבְהֲלוּ֙niv.ha.LuH926;The leadersאֵילֵ֣י'ei.LeiH352of Moabמוֹאָ֔בmo.'AvH4124,tremblingרָ֑עַדRa.'adH7461gripsיֹֽאחֲזֵ֖מוֹyo.cha.Ze.movH270them;Allכֹּ֖לkolH3605the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֥יyo.she.VeiH3427of Canaanכְנָֽעַן׃khe.Na.'anH3667have despairedנָמֹ֕גוּna.Mo.guH4127.

17You will bringתְּבִאֵ֗מוֹte.vi.'E.movH935them andplantוְתִטָּעֵ֙מוֹ֙ve.ti.ta.'E.movH5193them inthe mountainבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022of Your inheritanceנַחֲלָֽתְךָ֔na.cha.la.te.KhaH5159,The placeמָכ֧וֹןma.KhonH4349, Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,which You have madeפָּעַ֖לְתָּpa.'Al.taH6466as Your dwellingלְשִׁבְתְּךָ֛le.shiv.te.KhaH3427,The sanctuaryמִקְּדָ֕שׁmi.ke.DashH4720,Lordאֲדֹנָ֖י'a.do.NaiH136,which Your handsיָדֶֽיךָ׃ya.Dei.khaH3027have establishedכּוֹנְנ֥וּko.NuH3559.

18The Lordיְהוָ֥ה׀Yah.wehH3068shall reignיִמְלֹ֖ךְyim.LokhH4427foreverלְעֹלָ֥םle.'o.LamH5769and everוָעֶֽד׃va.'EdH5703.”

19For the horsesס֨וּסsusH5483of Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֜הpar.'OhH6547with his chariotsבְּרִכְבּ֤וֹbe.rikh.BoH7393and his horsemenוּבְפָרָשָׁיו֙u.ve.fa.ra.ShavH6571wentבָא֩va'H935into the seaבַּיָּ֔םbai.YamH3220,and the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068broughtH7725backוַיָּ֧שֶׁבvai.Ya.shevH7725the watersמֵ֣יmeiH4325of the seaהַיָּ֑םhai.YamH3220on them, but the sonsוּבְנֵ֧יu.ve.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478walkedהָלְכ֥וּha.le.KhuH1980ondryבַיַּבָּשָׁ֖הvai.ya.ba.ShahH3004landH3004through the midstבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the seaהַיָּֽם׃ פhai.YamH3220.

20Miriamמִרְיָ֨םmir.YamH4813the prophetessהַנְּבִיאָ֜הha.ne.vi.'AhH5031,Aaron’sאַהֲרֹ֛ן'a.ha.RonH175sisterאֲח֧וֹת'a.ChotH269,tookוַתִּקַּח֩va.ti.KachH3947thetambourineהַתֹּ֖ףha.TofH8596in her handבְּיָדָ֑הּbe.ya.DahH3027,and allכָֽל־khol-H3605the womenהַנָּשִׁים֙ha.na.ShimH802wentH3318outH3318afterאַחֲרֶ֔יהָ'a.cha.Rei.haH310her with tambourinesבְּתֻפִּ֖יםbe.tu.PimH8596and withdancingוּבִמְחֹלֹֽת׃u.vim.cho.LotH4246.

21And Miriamמִרְיָ֑םmir.YamH4813answeredוַתַּ֥עַןva.Ta.'anH6030them, “Singשִׁ֤ירוּShi.ruH7891to the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068, for Heis highlyגָאֹ֣הga.'OhH1342exaltedגָּאָ֔הga.'AhH1342;The horseס֥וּסsusH5483and his riderוְרֹכְב֖וֹve.ro.khe.VoH7392He has hurledרָמָ֥הra.MahH7411into the seaבַיָּֽם׃ סvai.YamH3220.”

22Then Mosesמֹשֶׁ֤הmo.ShehH4872ledוַיַּסַּ֨עvai.ya.Sa'H5265Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478from theRedס֔וּףSufH5488Seaמִיַּם־mi.yam-H3220,and they wentH3318outH3318intothe wildernessמִדְבַּר־mid.bar-H4057ofShurשׁ֑וּרShurH7793;and they wentוַיֵּלְכ֧וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980threeשְׁלֹֽשֶׁת־she.lo.shet-H7969daysיָמִ֛יםya.MimH3117in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֖רba.mid.BarH4057and foundמָ֥צְאוּMa.tze.'uH4672noוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808waterמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325.

23When they cameוַיָּבֹ֣אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935toMarahמָרָ֔תָהma.Ra.tahH4785,they couldיָֽכְל֗וּya.khe.LuH3201not drinkלִשְׁתֹּ֥תlish.TotH8354the watersמַ֙יִם֙ma.yimH4325of Marahמִמָּרָ֔הmi.ma.RahH4785,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588they werebitterמָרִ֖יםma.RimH4751;for thatH3651reasonH3651it was namedקָרָֽא־ שְׁמָ֖הּka.ra'- she.MahH7121 H8034Marahמָרָֽה׃ma.RahH4785.

24So the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971grumbledוַיִּלֹּ֧נוּvai.yi.Lo.nuH3885at Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹ֖רle.MorH559, “Whatמַה־mah-H4100are we to drinkנִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃nish.TehH8354?”

25Then hecriedH6817outH6817to the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,and the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068showedוַיּוֹרֵ֤הוּvai.yo.Re.huH3384hima treeעֵ֔ץ'EtzH6086;and he threwוַיַּשְׁלֵךְ֙vai.yash.leKhH7993itinto the watersהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325,and the watersהַמָּ֑יִםha.Ma.yimH4325becameH4985sweetוַֽיִּמְתְּק֖וּvai.yim.te.KuH4985.Thereשָׁ֣םshamH8033Hemadeשָׂ֥םsamH7760for them a statuteחֹ֥קchokH2706and regulationוּמִשְׁפָּ֖טu.mish.PatH4941,and thereוְשָׁ֥םve.ShamH8033Hetestedנִסָּֽהוּ׃ni.Sa.huH5254them.

27Then they cameוַיָּבֹ֣אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935toElimאֵילִ֔מָה'ei.Li.mahH362whereוְשָׁ֗םve.ShamH8033there weretwelveשְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵ֛הshe.Teim 'es.RehH8147 H6240springsH5871of waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325and seventyוְשִׁבְעִ֣יםve.shiv.'ImH7657dateH8558palmsתְּמָרִ֑יםte.ma.RimH8558,and they campedוַיַּחֲנוּ־vai.ya.cha.nu-H2583thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033besideעַל־'al-H5921the watersהַמָּֽיִם׃ha.Ma.yimH4325.
