1Then the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872, “Nowעַתָּ֣ה'a.TahH6258you shall seeתִרְאֶ֔הtir.'EhH7200whatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I will doאֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה'e.'e.SehH6213to Pharaohלְפַרְעֹ֑הle.far.'OhH6547; forunder compulsionבְיָ֤ד חֲזָקָה֙ve.Yad cha.za.KahH2389 H3027he will letH7971them goיְשַׁלְּחֵ֔םye.sha.le.ChemH7971, andunder compulsionוּבְיָ֣ד חֲזָקָ֔הu.ve.Yad cha.za.KahH2389 H3027he will driveיְגָרְשֵׁ֖םye.ga.re.ShemH1644them outH1644of his landמֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ סme.'ar.TzoH776.”

2Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696further to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872and saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “I amthe Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068;

3and I appearedוָאֵרָ֗אva.'e.Ra'H7200to Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֛ם'av.ra.HamH85,Isaacיִצְחָ֥קyitz.ChakH3327,and Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290asGodבְּאֵ֣לbe.'ElH410Almightyשַׁדָּ֑יsha.DaiH7706, but byMy nameוּשְׁמִ֣יu.she.MiH8034,Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,I did not makeH3045Myself knownH3045to them.

4I alsoוְגַ֨םve.GamH1571establishedהֲקִמֹ֤תִיha.ki.Mo.tiH6965My covenantבְּרִיתִי֙be.ri.TiH1285with them, to giveלָתֵ֥תla.TetH5414them the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנָ֑עַןke.Na.'anH3667, thelandאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776in whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they livedH1481asH1481strangersH1481.

5Furthermoreוְגַ֣ם׀ve.GamH1571I haveheardשָׁמַ֗עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085the groaningנַאֲקַת֙na.'a.KatH5009of the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,becauseאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714are holdingH5647them in bondageH5647,and I have rememberedוָאֶזְכֹּ֖רva.'ez.KorH2142My covenantבְּרִיתִֽי׃be.ri.TiH1285.

6Sayאֱמֹ֥ר'e.MorH559,thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651,to the sonsלִבְנֵֽי־liv.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֘לYis.ra.'ElH3478, ‘I am the Lordיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068, andI will bringוְהוֹצֵאתִ֣יve.ho.tze.TiH3318you outH3318from underמִתַּ֙חַת֙mi.Ta.chatH8478the laborsסִבְלֹ֣תsiv.LotH5450of the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and I will rescueוְהִצַּלְתִּ֥יve.hi.tzal.TiH5337you from their bondageמֵעֲבֹדָתָ֑םme.'a.vo.da.TamH5656. I will alsoredeemוְגָאַלְתִּ֤יve.ga.'al.TiH1350you withan outstretchedנְטוּיָ֔הne.tu.YahH5186armבִּזְר֣וֹעַbiz.Ro.a'H2220,and with greatגְּדֹלִֽים׃ge.do.LimH1419judgmentsוּבִשְׁפָטִ֖יםu.vish.fa.TimH8201.

7Then I will takeוְלָקַחְתִּ֨יve.la.kach.TiH3947youas My peopleלְעָ֔םle.'AmH5971, and I will beyour Godלֵֽאלֹהִ֑יםle.lo.HimH430; andyou shall knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֗םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם'e.Lo.hei.KhemH430,who broughtH3318you outH3318from underמִתַּ֖חַתmi.Ta.chatH8478the laborsסִבְל֥וֹתsiv.LotH5450of the Egyptiansמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

8I will bringוְהֵבֵאתִ֤יve.he.ve.TiH935you to the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834Isworeנָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ יָדִ֔יna.Sa.ti ya.DiH5375 H3027to giveלָתֵ֣תla.TetH5414to Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֥םle.'av.ra.HamH85,Isaacלְיִצְחָ֖קle.yitz.ChakH3327,and Jacobוּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑בu.le.ya.'a.KoH3290, andI will giveוְנָתַתִּ֨יve.na.ta.TiH5414it to you asa possessionמוֹרָשָׁ֖הmo.ra.ShahH4181;I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.’”

9So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֛הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696thisכֵּ֖ןkenH3651to the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,but they did not listenשָֽׁמְעוּ֙sha.me.'UH8085to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872onH4480accountH4480ofH4480theirdespondencyמִקֹּ֣צֶר ר֔וּחַmi.Ko.tzer Ru.achH7115 H7307and cruelקָשָֽׁה׃ פka.ShahH7186bondageוּמֵעֲבֹדָ֖הu.me.'a.vo.DahH5656.

10Now the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

11“Goבֹּ֣אbo'H935,tellדַבֵּ֔רda.BerH1696Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714to letH7971the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478goוִֽישַׁלַּ֥חvi.sha.LachH7971outH7971of his landמֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃me.'ar.TzoH776.”

12But Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Beholdהֵ֤ןhenH2005,the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478have not listenedשָׁמְע֣וּsha.me.'UH8085to me;howוְאֵיךְ֙ve.'eiKhH349then will Pharaohפַרְעֹ֔הfar.'OhH6547listenיִשְׁמָעֵ֣נִיyish.ma.'E.niH8085to me, as I amunskilledעֲרַ֥ל'a.RalH6189in speechשְׂפָתָֽיִם׃ פse.fa.Ta.yimH8193?”

13Nevertheless, the Lordיְהוָה֮Yah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872and to Aaronאַהֲרֹן֒'a.ha.RonH175and gaveH6680them a commandוַיְצַוֵּם֙vay.tza.VemH6680concerningH413the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478and Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,to bringלְהוֹצִ֥יאle.ho.Tzi'H3318the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478outH3318of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃ סmitz.Ra.yimH4714.
