John 8:21-29

ThenG3767 He saidG3004 againG3825 to them, “I goG5217 awayG5217, and 1you will seekG2212 Me, and 2will dieG599 in your sinG266; whereG3699 I am goingG5217, you cannotG1410G3756 comeG2064.”

SoG3767 3the JewsG2453 were sayingG3004, “SurelyG3385 He will not killG615 HimselfG1438, will He, sinceG3754 He saysG3004, ‘4WhereG3699 I am goingG5217, you cannotG1410G3756 comeG2064’?”

And He was sayingG3004 to them, “5You are from belowG2736, I amG1510 from aboveG507; 6you are of thisG3778 worldG2889, 7I amG1510 not of thisG3778 worldG2889.

ThereforeG3767 I saidG3004 to you that you 8will dieG599 in your sinsG266; for unlessG1437G3361 you believeG4100 that 910I amG1510 He, 11you will dieG599 in your sinsG266.”

SoG3767 they were sayingG3004 to Him, “WhoG5101 are You?” JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, “12WhatG3739G5101 have I been sayingG2980 to you from the beginningG746?

I haveG2192 manyG4183 thingsG4183 to speakG2980 and to judgeG2919 concerningG4012 you, but 13He who sentG3992 Me is trueG227; and 14the things whichG3739 I heardG191 from Him, theseG3778 I speakG2980 to the worldG2889.”

They did not realizeG1097 that He had been speakingG3004 to them about the FatherG3962.

SoG3767 JesusG2424 saidG3004, “WhenG3752 you 15liftG5312 up the SonG5207 of ManG444, thenG5119 you will knowG1097 that 1617I amG1510 He, and 18I doG4160 nothingG3762 on My ownG1683 initiativeG1683, but I speakG2980 theseG3778 thingsG3778 as the FatherG3962 taughtG1321 Me.

And He who sentG3992 Me is with Me; 19He 20has not leftG863 Me aloneG3441, for 21I alwaysG3842 doG4160 the thingsG701 that are pleasingG701 to Him.”
