8It cameH1961 about, whenH3588 he had been thereH8033 a longH748 timeH3117, that AbimelechH40 kingH4428 of the PhilistinesH6430 lookedH8259 out throughH1157 a windowH2474, and sawH7200, and beholdH2009, IsaacH3327 was caressingH6711 his wifeH802 RebekahH7259. 9Then AbimelechH40 calledH7121 IsaacH3327 and saidH559, “BeholdH2009, certainlyH389 she is your wifeH802! HowH349 then did you sayH559, ‘She is my sisterH269’?” And IsaacH3327 saidH559 to him, “BecauseH3588 I saidH559, ‘I mightH6435 dieH4191 on accountH5921 of her.’” 101AbimelechH40 saidH559, “WhatH4100 is thisH2088 you have doneH6213 to us? OneH259 of the peopleH5971 might easilyH4592 have lainH7901 with your wifeH802, and you would have broughtH935 guiltH817 upon us.” 11So AbimelechH40 chargedH6680 allH3605 the peopleH5971, sayingH559, “He who 2touchesH5060 thisH2088 manH376 or his wifeH802 shall surelyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191.”
