8AbrahamH85 saidH559, “GodH430 will 1provideH7200 for Himself the lambH7716 for the burntH5930 offeringH5930, my sonH1121.” So the twoH8147 of them walkedH1980 on togetherH3164.
9Then they cameH935 to 2the placeH4725 of whichH834 GodH430 had toldH559 him; and AbrahamH85 builtH1129 3the altarH4196 thereH8033 and arrangedH6186 the woodH6086, and boundH6123 his sonH1121 IsaacH3327 and 4laidH7760 him on the altarH4196, on topH4605 of the woodH6086. 10AbrahamH85 stretchedH7971 out his handH3027 and tookH3947 the knifeH3979 to slayH7819 his sonH1121. 11But 5the angelH4397 of the LordH3068 calledH7121 to him from heavenH8064 and saidH559, “AbrahamH85, AbrahamH85!” And he saidH559, “HereH2009 I am.” 12He saidH559, “Do not stretchH7971 out your handH3027 againstH413 the ladH5288, and doH6213 nothingH408H3972 to him; for nowH6258 6I knowH3045 that you 7fearH3372 GodH430, since you have not withheldH2820 8your sonH1121, your onlyH3173 son, from Me.” 13Then AbrahamH85 raisedH5375 his eyesH5869 and lookedH7200, and beholdH2009, behindH310 him a ramH352 caughtH270 in the thicketH5442 by his hornsH7161; and AbrahamH85 wentH1980 and tookH3947 the ramH352 and offeredH5927 him up for a burntH5930 offeringH5930 in the placeH8478 of his sonH1121.
