Exodus 33:2-13
(and I will sendH7971 an angelH4397 before thee, and dispossess the CanaaniteH3669, the AmoriteH567, and the HittiteH2850, and the PerizziteH6522, the HiviteH2340, and the JebusiteH2983,)
into a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706; for I will not goH5927 up in the midstH7130 of thee, for thou art a stiff-necked peopleH5971, — lestH6435 I consume thee on the wayH1870.
And when the peopleH5971 heardH8085 this evilH7451 wordH1697, they mournedH56; and no manH376 putH7896 on his ornamentsH5716.
NowH6258 Jehovah had saidH559 to MosesH4872, SayH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, Ye are a stiff-necked peopleH5971: in oneH259 momentH7281 I will comeH5927 up into the midstH7130 of thee and will consume thee. And nowH6258 put off thine ornamentsH5716 from thee, and I will knowH3045 what I will do unto thee.
And the children of IsraelH3478 stripped themselves of their ornamentsH5716 at mount HorebH2722.
And MosesH4872 tookH3947 the tentH168, and pitchedH5186 it outside the campH4264, farH7368 from the campH4264, and calledH7121 it the TentH168 of meetingH4150. And it came to pass [that] every one who soughtH1245 Jehovah wentH3318 out to the tentH168 of meetingH4150 which wasH1961 outside the campH4264.
And it cameH935 to pass, when MosesH4872 wentH3318 out to the tentH168, all the peopleH5971 roseH6965 up, and stoodH5324 every manH376 at the entranceH6607 of his tentH168, and they lookedH5027 after MosesH4872 until he entered into the tentH168.
And it cameH935 to pass when MosesH4872 entered into the tentH168, the pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 descended, and stoodH5975 at the entranceH6607 of the tentH168, and [Jehovah] talked with MosesH4872.
And all the peopleH5971 sawH7200 the pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 standingH5975 at the entranceH6607 of the tentH168; and all the peopleH5971 roseH6965 and worshipped, every manH376 at the entranceH6607 of his tentH168.
And Jehovah spokeH1696 with MosesH4872 faceH6440 to faceH6440, as a manH376 speaksH1696 with his friendH7453. And he returnedH7725 to the campH4264; but his attendant, JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126, a youngH5288 manH376, departedH4185 not from within the tentH168.
And MosesH4872 saidH559 to Jehovah, Behold, thou sayest unto me, BringH5927 up this peopleH5971; but thou dost not let me knowH3045 whom thou wilt sendH7971 with me; and thou hast saidH559, I knowH3045 thee by nameH8034, and thou hast alsoH1571 foundH4672 graceH2580 in mine eyesH5869.
And nowH6258, if indeed I have foundH4672 graceH2580 in thine eyesH5869, makeH3045 me nowH6258 to knowH3045 thy wayH1870, that I may knowH3045 thee, that I may findH4672 graceH2580 in thine eyesH5869; and considerH7200 that this nationH1471 is thy peopleH5971!
