Exodus 33:2-13
2and I will sendH7971 an angelH4397 before thee; and I will driveH1644 out the CanaaniteH3669, the AmoriteH567, and the HittiteH2850, and the PerizziteH6522, the HiviteH2340, and the JebusiteH2983: 3unto a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706: for I will not goH5927 up in the midstH7130 of thee, for thou art a stiffnecked peopleH5971, lestH6435 I consume thee in the wayH1870. 4And when the peopleH5971 heardH8085 these evilH7451 tidings, they mournedH56: and no manH376 did putH7896 on him his ornamentsH5716. 5And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, SayH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, Ye are a stiffnecked peopleH5971; if I goH5927 up into the midstH7130 of thee for oneH259 momentH7281, I shall consume thee: thereforeH6258 nowH6258 put off thy ornamentsH5716 from thee, that I may knowH3045 what to do unto thee. 6And the children of IsraelH3478 stripped themselves of their ornamentsH5716 from mount HorebH2722 onward.
7Now MosesH4872 used to takeH3947 the tentH168 and to pitchH5186 it without the campH4264, afar off from the campH4264; and he calledH7121 it, The tentH168 of meetingH4150. And it came to pass, that every one that soughtH1245 Jehovah wentH3318 out unto the tentH168 of meetingH4150, which wasH1961 without the campH4264. 8And it cameH935 to pass, when MosesH4872 wentH3318 out unto the TentH168, that all the peopleH5971 roseH6965 up, and stoodH5324, every manH376 at his tentH168 doorH6607, and lookedH5027 after MosesH4872, until he wasH1961 goneH3318 into the TentH168. 9And it cameH935 to pass, when MosesH4872 entered into the TentH168, the pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 descended, and stoodH5975 at the doorH6607 of the TentH168: and Jehovah spake with MosesH4872. 10And all the peopleH5971 sawH7200 the pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 standH5975 at the doorH6607 of the TentH168: and all the peopleH5971 roseH6965 up and worshipped, every manH376 at his tentH168 doorH6607. 11And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872 faceH6440 to faceH6440, as a manH376 speaketh unto his friendH7453. And he turnedH7725 again into the campH4264: but his minister JoshuaH3091, the sonH1121 of NunH5126, a youngH5288 manH376, departedH4185 not out of the TentH168.
12And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto Jehovah, SeeH7200, thou sayest unto me, BringH5927 up this peopleH5971: and thou hast not let me knowH3045 whom thou wilt sendH7971 with me. Yet thou hast saidH559, I knowH3045 thee by nameH8034, and thou hast alsoH1571 foundH4672 favorH2580 in my sight. 13NowH6258 thereforeH6258, I pray thee, if I have foundH4672 favorH2580 in thy sight, showH7200 me nowH6258 thy waysH1870, that I may knowH3045 thee, to the end that I may findH4672 favorH2580 in thy sight: and considerH7200 that this nationH1471 is thy peopleH5971.
