Exodus 20:13-26
13Thou shalt not kill. 14Thou shalt not commitH5003 adulteryH5003. 15Thou shalt not stealH1589. 16Thou shalt not bear false witnessH5707 against thy neighbour. 17Thou shalt not desire thy neighbour's houseH1004, thou shalt not desire thy neighbour's wifeH802, nor his bondman, nor his handmaid, nor his oxH7794, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbour's. 18And all the peopleH5971 sawH7200 the thunderings, and the flames, and the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782, and the mountainH2022 smokingH6226; and when the peopleH5971 sawH7200 [it], they trembled, and stoodH5975 afarH7350 off, 19and saidH559 to MosesH4872, SpeakH1696 thou with us, and we will hearH8085; but let not 1GodH430 speakH1696 with us, lestH6435 we dieH4191. 20And MosesH4872 saidH559 to the peopleH5971, FearH3374 not; for 2GodH430 is comeH935 to prove you, and that his fearH3374 may beH1961 before you, that ye sinH2398 not. 21And the peopleH5971 stoodH5975 afarH7350 off, and MosesH4872 drewH5066 near to the obscurity whereH834 3GodH430 was. 22And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, ThusH3541 shalt thou sayH559 to the children of IsraelH3478: Ye have seenH7200 that I have spokenH1696 with you from the heavensH8064. 23Ye shall not makeH6213 beside me 4godsH430 of silverH3701, and ye shall not makeH6213 to you 5godsH430 of goldH2091. 24An altarH4196 of earthH127 shalt thou makeH6213 unto me, and shalt sacrificeH2076 on it thy burnt-offerings, and thy peace-offerings, thy sheepH6629 and thine oxenH1241: in all placesH4725 whereH834 I shall makeH6213 my nameH8034 to be rememberedH2142, I will comeH935 unto thee, and blessH1288 thee. 25And if thou makeH6213 me an altarH4196 of stoneH68, thou shalt not buildH1129 it of hewnH1496 stoneH68; for if thou lift up thy sharp tool upon it, thou hast profanedH2490 it. 26Neither shalt thou goH5927 up by stepsH4609 unto mine altarH4196, that thy nakednessH6172 be not discovered thereon.
