13“1You shall not murderH7523.

14“2You shall not commitH5003 adulteryH5003.

15“3You shall not stealH1589.

16“4You shall not 5giveH6030 falseH8267 testimonyH5707 against your 6neighborH7453.

17“7You shall not covetH2530 your neighbor’sH7453 houseH1004; 8you shall not covetH2530 your neighbor’sH7453 wifeH802, or his maleH5650 slaveH5650, or his femaleH519 slaveH519, or his oxH7794, or his donkeyH2543, or anythingH3605 that belongs to your neighborH7453.”

18And 9allH3605 the peopleH5971 were watchingH7200 and hearing the 10thunderH6963 and the lightningH3940 flashesH3940, and the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782, and the mountainH2022 smokingH6226; and when the peopleH5971 sawH7200 it all, they trembledH5128 and stoodH5975 at a distanceH7350. 19 11Then they saidH559 to MosesH4872, “SpeakH1696 12to us yourselfH859 and we will listenH8085; but do not have GodH430 speakH1696 13to us, orH6435 we will dieH4191!” 20However, MosesH4872 saidH559 to the peopleH5971, “14Do not beH3372 afraidH3372; for GodH430 has comeH935 in orderH5668 15to testH5254 you, and in orderH5668 that 16the fearH3374 of Him may 17remainH1961 H6440 with you, so that you will not sinH2398.” 21So the peopleH5971 stoodH5975 at a distanceH7350, while MosesH4872 approachedH5066 18the thickH6205 darknessH6205 whereH834 H8033 GodH430 was.

22Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 you shall sayH559 to the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478: ‘You yourselvesH864 have seenH7200 that 19I have spokenH1696 20to you from heavenH8064. 23 21You shall not makeH6213 other gods besidesH854 Me; 22godsH430 of silverH3701 or godsH430 of goldH2091, you shall not makeH6213 for yourselvesH864. 24You shall makeH6213 23an altarH4196 of earthH127 for Me, and you shall sacrificeH2076 on it your 24burntH5930 offeringsH5930 and your 25peaceH8002 offeringsH8002, 26your sheepH6629 and your oxenH1241; in everyH3605 placeH4725 27whereH834 I cause My nameH8034 to be rememberedH2142, I will comeH935 to you and blessH1288 you. 25And ifH518 you makeH6213 an altarH4196 of stoneH68 for Me, 28you shall not buildH1129 it of cutH1496 stonesH1496, for if you wieldH5130 your chiselH2719 on it, you will profaneH2490 it. 26And you shall not goH5927 upH5927 by stepsH4609 to My altarH4196, soH834 thatH834 29your nakednessH6172 will not be exposedH1540 on it.’
