Exodus 16:22-29
And it cameH935 to pass on the sixthH8345 dayH3117, that they gatheredH3950 twice as much breadH3899, twoH8147 omersH6016 for oneH259; and all the princesH5387 of the assemblyH5712 cameH935 and toldH5046 MosesH4872.
And he saidH559 to them, This is what Jehovah has saidH559: To-morrow is the rest, the holyH6944 sabbathH7676, of Jehovah: bakeH644 what ye will bakeH644, and cookH1310 what ye will cookH1310; and lay up for yourselves all that remains over, to be keptH4931 for the morningH1242.
And they laid it up for the morningH1242, as MosesH4872 had commandedH6680; and it did not stinkH887, neither wasH1961 there any worm in it.
And MosesH4872 saidH559, EatH398 it to-day; for to-day is sabbathH7676 to Jehovah: to-day ye shall not findH4672 it in the fieldH7704.
SixH8337 daysH3117 shall ye gatherH3950 it; but on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 is sabbathH7676: on it there shall beH1961 none.
And it came to pass on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 that there wentH3318 out [some] from the peopleH5971 to gatherH3950 [it], and they foundH4672 none.
And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, How long do ye refuseH3985 to keepH8104 my commandmentsH4687 and my lawsH8451?
SeeH7200, for Jehovah hath givenH5414 you the sabbathH7676; thereforeH3651 he giveth you on the sixthH8345 dayH3117 the breadH3899 for two daysH3117. Abide every manH376 in his placeH4725: let no manH376 goH3318 from his placeH4725 on the seventhH7637 dayH3117.
