Corinthians 12:6-11
For if I shall desireG2309 to boastG2744, I shall not beG1510 a foolG878; for I will sayG3004 [the] truthG225; but I forbear, lestG3361 any oneG5100 should think as to me above what he seesG991 me [to beG1510], or whatever he may hearG191 of me.
And that I might not be exalted by the exceeding greatness of the revelationsG602, there was givenG1325 to me a thorn for the fleshG4561, a messengerG32 of SatanG4567 that he might buffet me, that I might not be exalted.
For this I thrice besought the LordG2962 that it might departG868 from me.
And he saidG3004 to me, My graceG5485 suffices thee; for [my] powerG1411 is perfected in weaknessG769. Most gladlyG2236 thereforeG3767 will I ratherG3123 boastG2744 in my weaknessesG769, that the powerG1411 of the ChristG5547 may dwell upon me.
Wherefore I take pleasureG2106 in weaknessesG769, in insults, in necessities, in persecutionsG1375, in straits, for ChristG5547: for whenG3752 I amG1510 weakG770, then I amG1510 powerfulG1415.
I have becomeG1096 a foolG878; ye have compelledG315 me; for I oughtG3784 to have beenG1510 commendedG4921 by you; for I have beenG1510 nothing behind those who wereG1510 in surpassing degree apostlesG652, if alsoG2532 I amG1510 nothing.
