Matthew 6:16-25
WhenG3752 you fastG3522, do notG3361 beG1096 somberG4659 likeG5613 theG3588 hypocritesG5273, forG1063 they disfigureG853 theirG846 facesG4383 to showG3704G5316 menG444 they are fastingG3522. TrulyG281 I tellG3004 youG4771, they already haveG568 theirG846 full rewardG3408. 17ButG1161 when youG4771 fastG3522, anointG218 yourG4771 headG2776 andG2532 washG3538 yourG4771 faceG4383, 18so thatG3704 your fastingG3522 will not be obviousG5316G3361 to menG444, but onlyG235 toG3588 yourG4771 FatherG3962, whoG3588 is unseenG1722G3588G2927. AndG2532 yourG4771 FatherG3962, whoG3588 seesG991 what is doneG1722G3588 in secretG2927, will rewardG591 youG4771.
19Do notG3361 store upG2343 for yourselvesG4771 treasuresG2344 onG1909 earthG1093, whereG3699 mothG4597 andG2532 rustG10351 destroyG853, andG2532 whereG3699 thievesG2812 break inG1358 andG2532 stealG2813. 20ButG1161 store upG2343 for yourselvesG4771 treasuresG2344 inG1722 heavenG3772, whereG3699 mothG4597 and rustG1035 do not destroyG3777G853, andG2532G3756 whereG3699 thievesG2812 do not break inG1358G3761 and stealG2813. 21ForG1063 whereG3699 yourG4771 treasureG2344 isG1510, thereG1563 yourG4771 heartG2588 will beG1510 alsoG2532.
22TheG3588 eyeG3788 isG1510 theG3588 lampG3088 of theG3588 bodyG4983. IfG1437 yourG4771 eyesG3788 areG1510 goodG573,2 yourG4771 wholeG3650 bodyG4983 will beG1510 full of lightG5460. 23ButG1161 ifG1437 yourG4771 eyesG3788 areG1510 badG4190,3 yourG4771 wholeG3650 bodyG4983 will beG1510 full of darknessG4652. IfG1487 thenG3767 theG3588 lightG5457 withinG1722 youG4771 isG1510 darknessG4655, how greatG4214 is thatG3588 darknessG4655!
24No oneG3762 canG1410 serveG1398 twoG1417 mastersG2962: EitherG2228 he will hateG3404 theG3588 oneG1520 andG2532 loveG25 theG3588 otherG2087, orG2228 he will be devoted toG472 the oneG1520 andG2532 despiseG2706 theG3588 otherG2087. You cannotG1410G3756 serveG1398 both GodG2316 andG2532 moneyG3126.
25ThereforeG1223G3778 I tellG3004 youG4771, do notG3361 worry aboutG3309 yourG4771 lifeG5590, whatG5101 you will eatG5315 orG2228 drinkG4095; orG3366 about yourG4771 bodyG4983, whatG5101 you will wearG1746. IsG1510 notG3780 lifeG5590 moreG4119 thanG3588 foodG5160, andG2532 theG3588 bodyG4983 more thanG3588 clothesG1742?
