Jeremiah 49:23-29
“HamathH2574 and ArpadH774 are put to shameH954,forH3588 they have heardH8085 a badH7451 reportH8052;they are agitatedH4127 like the seaH3220;1their anxietyH1674 cannotH3808H3201 be calmedH8252.24DamascusH1834 has become feebleH7503;she has turnedH6437 to fleeH5127.PanicH7374 has gripped herH2388;anguishH6869 and painH2256 have seized herH270like a woman in laborH3205.
25HowH349 is the cityH5892 of praiseH8416 notH3808 forsakenH5800,the townH7151 that brings Me joyH4885?26ForH3651 her young menH970 will fallH5307 in the streetsH7339,and allH3605 her warriorsH582H4421 will be silencedH1826 in thatH1931 dayH3117,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635.27“I will set fireH3341H784 to the wallsH2346 of DamascusH1834;it will consumeH398 the fortressesH759 of Ben-hadadH1130.”
28Concerning KedarH6938 and the kingdomsH4467 of HazorH2674, whichH834 NebuchadnezzarH5020 kingH4428 of BabylonH894 defeatedH5221, this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:
“Rise upH6965, advanceH5927 againstH413 KedarH6938,and destroyH7703 the peopleH1121 of the eastH6924!29They will takeH3947 their tentsH168 and flocksH6629,their tent curtainsH3407 and allH3605 their goodsH3627.They will takeH5375 their camels for themselvesH1581.They will shoutH7121 to themH5921: ‘TerrorH4032 is on every sideH5439!’
