Jeremiah 28:10-17
10Then the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608 tookH3947 the yokeH4133 offH5921 the neckH6677 of JeremiahH3414 the prophetH5030 and broke itH7665. 11And in the presenceH5869 of allH3605 the peopleH5971 HananiahH2608 proclaimedH559, “This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559: ‘In this wayH3602, within two yearsH8141H3117 I will breakH7665 the yokeH5923 of NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894 offH5921 the neckH6677 of allH3605 the nationsH1471.’”
At this, JeremiahH3414 the prophetH5030 wentH1980 on his wayH1870. 12But shortly afterH310 HananiahH2608 the prophetH5030 had brokenH7665 the yokeH4133 offH5921 his neckH6677H3414H5030H559, the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 toH413 JeremiahH3414: 13“GoH1980 and tellH559H413 HananiahH2608 that this is whatH3541H559 the LORDH3068 saysH559: ‘You have brokenH7665 a yokeH4133 of woodH6086, but in its placeH8478 you have fashionedH6213 a yokeH4133 of ironH1270.’
14ForH3588 this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, saysH559: ‘I have putH5414 a yokeH5923 of ironH1270 onH5921 the neckH6677 of allH3605 theseH428 nationsH1471 to make them serveH5647 NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and they will serve himH5647. I have evenH1571 given him controlH5414 of the beastsH2416 of the fieldH7704.’”
15Then the prophetH5030 JeremiahH3414 saidH559 toH413 the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608, “ListenH8085H4994, HananiahH2608! The LORDH3068 did notH3808 send youH7971, but youH859 have persuadedH2088 this peopleH5971 to trustH982 inH5921 a lieH8267. 16ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068H2005 saysH559: ‘I am about to remove youH7971 fromH5921 the faceH6440 of the earthH127. YouH859 will dieH4191 this yearH8141 becauseH3588 you have preachedH1696 rebellionH5627 againstH413 the LORDH3068.’”
17And in the seventhH7637 monthH2320 of that veryH1931 yearH8141, the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608 diedH4191.
