Genesis 40:5-8
5bothH8147 of these menH376—the EgyptianH4714 king’sH4428 cupbearerH4945 and bakerH644, whoH834 were being heldH631 in the prisonH1004H5470—had a dreamH2492H2472 on the sameH259H376 nightH3915, and each dreamH2472 had its own meaningH6623.
6When JosephH3130 cameH935 to themH413 in the morningH1242, he sawH7200 that they were distraughtH2196. 7So he askedH7592 the officialsH5631 of PharaohH6547 whoH834 were in custodyH4929 with himH854 in his master’sH113H559 houseH1004, “WhyH4069 are your facesH6440 so downcastH7451 todayH3117?”
8“We both had dreamsH2472H2492,” they repliedH559H413, “but there is no oneH369 to interpret themH6622.”
Then JosephH3130 saidH559 to themH413, “Don’tH3808 interpretationsH6623 belong to GodH430? Tell me your dreamsH5608H4994.”
