Genesis 34:25-30
25ThreeH7992 days laterH3117, whileH1961 they wereH1961 still in painH3510, twoH8147 of Jacob’sH3290 sonsH1121 (Dinah’sH1783H376 brothersH251 SimeonH8095 and LeviH3878) tookH3947 their swordsH2719, wentH935 intoH5921 the unsuspectingH983 cityH5892, and slaughteredH2026 everyH3605 maleH2145. 26They killedH2026H6310 HamorH2544 and his sonH1121 ShechemH7927 with their swordsH2719, tookH3947 DinahH1783 out of Shechem’sH7927 houseH1004, and went awayH3318.
27Jacob’sH3290 other sonsH1121 cameH935 uponH5921 the slaughterH2491 and lootedH962 the cityH5892, becauseH834 their sisterH269 had been defiledH2930. 28They tookH3947 their flocksH6629 andH853 herdsH1241 andH853 donkeysH2543, and everything elseH834 in the cityH5892 or in the fieldH7704. 29They carried offH7617 allH3605 their possessionsH2428 andH853 womenH802 andH853 childrenH2945, and they plunderedH962 everythingH3605 in their housesH1004.
30Then JacobH3290 saidH559 toH413 SimeonH8095H413 and LeviH3878, “You have brought troubleH5916 upon meH853 by making me a stenchH887 to the CanaanitesH3669 and PerizzitesH6522, the peopleH3427 of this landH776. WeH589 are fewH4962 in numberH4557; if they uniteH622 against meH5921 and attack meH5221, IH589 and my householdH1004 will be destroyedH8045.”
