3Tellוְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ve.'a.mar.TaH559the Ammonitesלִבְנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹןliv.Nei a.MonH1121H5983to hearשִׁמְע֖וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069,for this is whatכֹּה־koh-H3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֡הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘Becauseיַעַן֩ya.'AnH3282you exclaimedאָמְרֵ֨ךְ'a.me.RekhH559, “Ahaהֶאָ֜חhe.'AchH1889אֶל־'el-H413!”when My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֣יmik.da.ShiH4720כִֽי־khi-H3588was profanedנִחָ֗לni.ChalH2490וְאֶל־ve.'el-H413,when the landאַדְמַ֤ת'ad.MatH127of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478כִּ֣יkiH3588was laid wasteנָשַׁ֔מָּהna.Sha.mahH8074,andוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413when the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063כִּ֥יkiH3588wentהָלְכ֖וּha.le.KhuH1980into exileבַּגּוֹלָֽה׃ba.go.LahH1473,
4thereforeלָכֵ֡ןla.KhenH3651I will indeedהִנְנִי֩hi.NiH2005give youנֹתְנָ֨ךְno.te.NakhH5414as a possessionלְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֗הle.mo.ra.ShahH4181to the peopleלִבְנֵי־liv.nei-H1121of the Eastקֶ֜דֶםKe.demH6924.They will set upוְיִשְּׁב֤וּve.yi.she.VuH3427their campsטִירֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ti.ro.tei.HemH2918and pitchוְנָ֥תְנוּve.Na.te.nuH5414their tentsמִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶ֑םmish.ke.nei.HemH4908among you.Theyהֵ֚מָּהHe.mahH1992will eatיֹאכְל֣וּyo.khe.LuH398your fruitפִרְיֵ֔ךְ וְהֵ֖מָּהfir.Yekh ve.He.mahH6529H1992and drinkיִשְׁתּ֥וּyish.TuH8354your milkחֲלָבֵֽךְ׃cha.la.VekhH2461.
5I will makeוְנָתַתִּ֤יve.na.ta.TiH5414אֶת־'et-H853Rabbahרַבָּה֙ra.BahH7237a pastureלִנְוֵ֣הlin.VehH5116for camelsגְמַלִּ֔יםge.ma.LimH1581,andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853בְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121Ammonעַמּ֖וֹןa.MonH5983a resting place forלְמִרְבַּץ־le.mir.batz-H4769sheepצֹ֑אןTzonH6629.Then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.’
6Forכִּ֣יkiH3588this is whatכֹ֤הkhohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: ‘Becauseיַ֚עַןYa.'anH3282you clappedמַחְאֲךָ֣mach.'a.KhaH4222your handsיָ֔דYadH3027and stompedוְרַקְעֲךָ֖ve.rak.'a.ChaH7554your feetבְּרָ֑גֶלbe.Ra.gelH7272and rejoicedוַתִּשְׂמַ֤חva.tis.MachH8055overאֶל־'el-H413the landאַדְמַ֖ת'ad.MatH127of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478with a heartבְּנֶ֔פֶשׁbe.Ne.feshH5315fullבְּכָל־be.kholH3605of contemptשָֽׁאטְךָ֙sha.te.KhaH7589,
7thereforeלָכֵ֡ןla.KhenH3651I will indeedהִנְנִי֩hi.NiH2005stretch outנָטִ֨יתִיna.Ti.tiH5186אֶת־'et-H853My handיָדִ֜יya.DiH3027against youעָלֶ֗יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921and give youוּנְתַתִּ֤יךָֽ־u.ne.ta.Ti.kha-H5414as plunderH897to the nationsלַגּוֹיִ֔םla.go.YimH1471.I will cut you offוְהִכְרַתִּ֙יךָ֙ve.hikh.ra.Ti.khaH3772fromמִן־min-H4480the peoplesהָ֣עַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971and exterminate youוְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֖יךָve.ha.'a.vad.Ti.khaH6fromמִן־min-H4480the countriesהָאֲרָצ֑וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776.I will destroy youאַשְׁמִ֣ידְךָ֔'ash.Mi.de.khaH8045,and you will knowוְיָדַעְתָּ֖ve.ya.da'.TaH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.’

8This is whatכֹּ֥הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559: ‘Becauseיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282Moabמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124and Seirוְשֵׂעִ֔ירve.se.'IrH8165saidאֲמֹ֤ר'a.MorH559, “Lookהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063is like allכְּכָֽל־ke.khal-H3605the other nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471,”
9thereforeלָכֵן֩la.KhenH3651I will indeedהִנְנִ֨יhi.NiH2005exposeפֹתֵ֜חַfo.Te.achH6605אֶת־'et-H853the flankכֶּ֤תֶףKe.tefH3802of Moabמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124beginning with its frontierמִקָּצֵ֑הוּmi.ka.Tze.huH7097citiesH5892—Beth-jeshimothH1020,Baal-meonH1186,and Kiriathaimוְקִרְיָתָֽיְמָה׃ve.kir.ya.te.mahH7156—the gloryצְבִ֗יtze.ViH6643of the landאֶ֚רֶץ'E.retzH776.
10I will give itוּנְתַתִּ֖יהָu.ne.ta.Ti.haH5414along withעַל־'al-H5921the Ammonitesלִבְנֵי־ עַמּ֔וֹןliv.nei- a.MonH1121H5983as a possessionלְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֑הle.mo.ra.ShahH4181to the peopleבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of the Eastקֶ֙דֶם֙ke.demH6924,so thatלְמַ֛עַןle.Ma.'anH4616the Ammonitesבְּנֵֽי־ עַמּ֖וֹןbe.nei- a.MonH1121H5983will no longerלֹֽא־lo'-H3808be rememberedתִזָּכֵ֥רti.za.KherH2142among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ba.go.YimH1471.

12This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: ‘Becauseיַ֣עַןYa.'anH3282Edomאֱד֛וֹם'e.DomH123actedעֲשׂ֥וֹתa.SotH6213vengefullyבִּנְקֹ֥ם נָקָ֖םbin.Kom na.KamH5358H5359against the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and inוְנִקְּמ֥וּve.ni.ke.MuH5358so doingincurred grievous guiltH816,
13thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651this is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559:I will stretch outוְנָטִ֤תִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186My handיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027againstעַל־'al-H5921Edomאֱד֔וֹם'e.DomH123and cut offוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from itמִמֶּ֖נָּהmi.Me.nahH4480both manאָדָ֣ם'a.DamH120and beastוּבְהֵמָ֑הu.ve.he.MahH929.I will makeוּנְתַתִּ֤יהָu.ne.ta.Ti.haH5414it a wastelandחָרְבָּה֙cha.re.BahH2723,and from Temanמִתֵּימָ֔ןmi.tei.ManH8487to Dedanוּדְדָ֖נֶהu.de.Da.nehH1719they will fallיִפֹּֽלוּ׃yi.Po.luH5307by the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719.
14I will takeוְנָתַתִּ֨יve.na.ta.TiH5414אֶת־'et-H853My vengeanceנִקְמָתִ֜יnik.ma.TiH5360on Edomבֶּאֱד֗וֹםbe.'e.DomH123by the handבְּיַד֙be.YadH3027of My peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and they will dealוְעָשׂ֣וּve.'a.SuH6213with Edomבֶאֱד֔וֹםve.'e.DomH123according to My angerכְּאַפִּ֖יke.'a.PiH639and wrathוְכַחֲמָתִ֑יve.kha.cha.ma.TiH2534.Then they will knowוְיָֽדְעוּ֙ve.ya.de.'UH3045אֶת־'et-H853My vengeanceנִקְמָתִ֔יnik.ma.TiH5360,declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.’
