16This is whatכֹּה־koh-H3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהֹוִ֗הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559: ‘Ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588the princeהַנָּשִׂ֤יאha.na.Si'H5387givesיִתֵּ֨ןyi.TenH5414a giftמַתָּנָה֙ma.ta.NahH4979to anyלְאִ֣ישׁle.'IshH376of his sonsמִבָּנָ֔יוmi.ba.NavH1121as an inheritanceנַחֲלָת֥וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159,itהִ֖יאhi'H1931will belong to his descendantsלְבָנָ֣יוle.va.NavH1121.It will becomeתִּֽהְיֶ֑הtih.YehH1961their propertyאֲחֻזָּתָ֥ם הִ֖יא'a.chu.za.Tam hi'H272 H1931by inheritanceבְּנַחֲלָֽה׃be.na.cha.LahH5159.

17But ifוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588he givesיִתֵּ֨ןyi.TenH5414a giftמַתָּנָ֜הma.ta.NahH4979from his inheritanceמִנַּחֲלָת֗וֹmi.na.cha.la.ToH5159to oneלְאַחַד֙le.'a.ChadH259of his servantsמֵֽעֲבָדָ֔יוme.'a.va.DavH5650,it will belong toוְהָ֤יְתָהve.Ha.ye.tahH1961that servant untilעַד־'ad-H5704the yearשְׁנַ֣תshe.NatH8141of freedomהַדְּר֔וֹרha.de.RorH1865;then it will revertוְשָׁבַ֖תve.sha.VatH7725to the princeלַנָּשִׂ֑יאla.na.Si'H5387.His inheritanceנַחֲלָת֔וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159belongs onlyאַ֚ךְ'akhH389to his sonsבָּנָ֖יוba.NavH1121;it shall beתִּהְיֶֽה׃tih.YehH1961theirs.

18The princeהַנָּשִׂ֜יאha.na.Si'H5387must notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808takeיִקַּ֨חyi.KachH3947any of the inheritanceמִנַּחֲלַ֣תmi.na.cha.LatH5159of the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971by evicting themלְהֽוֹנֹתָם֙le.ho.no.TamH3238from their propertyמֵאֲחֻזָּתָ֔םme.'a.chu.za.TamH272.He is to provide an inheritanceיַנְחִ֣לyan.ChilH5157אֶת־'et-H853for his sonsבָּנָ֑יוba.NavH1121from his own propertyמֵאֲחֻזָּת֖וֹme.'a.chu.za.ToH272,so thatלְמַ֙עַן֙le.Ma.'anH4616אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834noneלֹֽא־ אִ֖ישׁlo'- 'ishH3808 H376of My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971will be displacedיָפֻ֣צוּya.Fu.tzuH6327from his propertyמֵאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃me.'a.chu.za.ToH272.’”
