2“Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,howמַה־mah-H4100doesיִּֽהְיֶ֥הyih.YehH1961the woodעֵץ־'etz-H6086of the vineהַגֶּ֖פֶןha.Ge.fenH1612surpassמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605anyעֵ֑ץ'EtzH6086otherbranchהַזְּמוֹרָ֕הha.ze.mo.RahH2156among the treesבַּעֲצֵ֥יba.'a.TzeiH6086אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834הָיָ֖הha.YahH1961in the forestהַיָּֽעַר׃hai.Ya.'arH3293?

6Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651this is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: ‘Likeכַּאֲשֶׁ֤רka.'a.SherH834the woodעֵץ־'etz-H6086of the vineהַגֶּ֙פֶן֙ha.Ge.fenH1612among the treesבְּעֵ֣ץbe.'EtzH6086of the forestהַיַּ֔עַרhai.Ya.'arH3293,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I have givenנְתַתִּ֥יוne.ta.TivH5414to the fireלָאֵ֖שׁla.'EshH784for fuelלְאָכְלָ֑הle.'okh.LahH402,soכֵּ֣ןkenH3651I will give upנָתַ֔תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414אֶת־'et-H853the peopleיֹשְׁבֵ֖יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

7And I will setוְנָתַתִּ֤יve.na.ta.TiH5414אֶת־'et-H853My faceפָּנַי֙pa.NaiH6440against them.Though they may have escapedיָצָ֔אוּya.Tza.'uH3318the fireמֵהָאֵ֣שׁme.ha.'EshH784,yet another fireוְהָאֵ֖שׁve.ha.'EshH784will consume themתֹּֽאכְלֵ֑םtokh.LemH398.And when I setבְּשׂוּמִ֥יbe.su.MiH7760אֶת־'et-H853My faceפָּנַ֖יpa.NaiH6440against them,you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּם֙vi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589amthe LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068.

8Thus I will makeוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414אֶת־'et-H853the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776desolateשְׁמָמָ֑הshe.ma.MahH8077,becauseיַ֚עַןYa.'anH3282they have acted unfaithfullyמָ֣עֲלוּ מַ֔עַלMa.'a.lu Ma.'alH4603 H4604,’declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.”
