5You did notלֹ֤אlo'H3808go upעֲלִיתֶם֙'a.li.TemH5927to the gapsבַּפְּרָצ֔וֹתba.pe.ra.TzotH6556or restoreוַתִּגְדְּר֥וּva.tig.de.RuH1443the wallגָדֵ֖רga.DerH1447aroundעַל־'al-H5921the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478so that it would standלַעֲמֹ֥דla.'a.ModH5975in the battleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֖הba.mil.cha.MahH4421on the Dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
6They seeחָ֤זוּCha.zuH2372false visionsשָׁוְא֙shaV'H7723and speak lyingכָּזָ֔בka.ZavH3577divinationsוְקֶ֣סֶםve.Ke.semH7081.They claimהָאֹֽמְרִים֙ha.'o.me.RimH559, ‘Thus declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,’when the LORDוַֽיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068did notלֹ֣אlo'H3808send themשְׁלָחָ֑םshe.la.ChamH7971;yet they waitוְיִֽחֲל֖וּve.yi.cha.LuH3176for the fulfillmentלְקַיֵּ֥םle.kai.YemH6965of their messageדָּבָֽר׃da.VarH1697.
7Haven’t youהֲל֤וֹאha.Lo'H3808seenחֲזִיתֶ֔םcha.zi.TemH2372a falseשָׁוְא֙shaV'H7723visionמַֽחֲזֵה־ma.cha.zeh-H4236and spokenאֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם'a.mar.TemH559a lyingכָּזָ֖בka.ZavH3577divinationוּמִקְסַ֥םu.mik.SamH4738when you proclaimוְאֹֽמְרִים֙ve.'o.me.RimH559, ‘Thus declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,’even though Iוַאֲנִ֖יva.'a.NiH589have notלֹ֥אlo'H3808spokenדִבַּֽרְתִּי׃ סdi.Bar.tiH1696?

10BecauseH3282they have led My peopleעַמִּ֛י'a.MiH5971astrayהִטְע֧וּhit.'UH2937אֶת־'et-H853,sayingלֵאמֹ֥רle.MorH559, ‘Peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965,’when there is noוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369peaceשָׁל֑וֹם וְהִנָּ֛םsha.Lom ve.hi.NamH7965H2009,and whitewashingטָחִ֥יםta.ChimH2902אֹת֖וֹ'o.ToH853תָּפֵֽל׃ta.FelH8602any flimsy wallחַ֔יִץCha.yitzH2434וְהוּא֙ve.Hu'H1931that is builtבֹּ֣נֶהBo.nehH1129,
11tellאֱמֹ֛ר אֶל־'e.Mor 'el-H559H413those whitewashingטָחֵ֥י תָפֵ֖לta.Chei ta.FelH2902H8602the wallthat it will fallוְיִפֹּ֑לve.yi.PolH5307.Rainגֶּ֣שֶׁםGe.shemH1653will comeהָיָ֣ה׀ha.YahH1961in torrentsשׁוֹטֵ֗ף וְאַתֵּ֜נָהsho.Tef ve.'a.Te.nahH7857H859,I will send hailstonesאַבְנֵ֤י אֶלְגָּבִישׁ֙'av.Nei 'el.ga.VishH68H417plunging downתִּפֹּ֔לְנָהti.Po.le.nahH5307,and a windstormוְר֥וּחַ סְעָר֖וֹתve.Ru.ach se.'a.RotH7307H5591will burst forthתְּבַקֵּֽעַ׃te.va.Ke.a'H1234.
12Surelyוְהִנֵּ֖הve.hi.NehH2009when the wallהַקִּ֑ירha.KirH7023has fallenנָפַ֣לna.FalH5307,you will notהֲלוֹא֙ha.lO'H3808be askedיֵאָמֵ֣ר אֲלֵיכֶ֔םye.'a.Mer 'a.lei.KhemH559H413, ‘Whereאַיֵּ֥ה'ai.YehH346is the whitewashהַטִּ֖יחַha.Ti.achH2915with whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you covered itטַחְתֶּֽם׃ סtach.TemH2902?’
13Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651this is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559:In My wrathבַּֽחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534I will releaseוּבִקַּעְתִּ֥יu.vi.ka'.TiH1234a windstormרֽוּחַ־ סְעָר֖וֹתRu.ach- se.'a.RotH7307H5591,and in My angerבְּאַפִּ֣יbe.'a.PiH639torrentsשֹׁטֵף֙sho.TefH7857of rainוְגֶ֤שֶׁםve.Ge.shemH1653and hailוְאַבְנֵ֥יve.'av.NeiH68will fallיִֽהְיֶ֔ה אֶלְגָּבִ֖ישׁyih.Yeh 'el.ga.VishH1961H417with destructiveלְכָלָֽה׃le.kha.LahH3617furyבְּחֵמָ֥הbe.che.MahH2534.
14I will tear downוְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜יve.Ha.ras.TiH2040אֶת־'et-H853the wallהַקִּ֨ירha.KirH7023אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you whitewashedטַחְתֶּ֥ם תָּפֵ֛לtach.Tem ta.FelH2902H8602and levelוְהִגַּעְתִּ֥יהוּve.hi.ga'.Ti.huH5060it toאֶל־'el-H413the groundהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776,so that its foundationיְסֹד֑וֹye.so.DoH3247is exposedוְנִגְלָ֣הve.nig.LahH1540.The city will fallוְנָֽפְלָה֙ve.na.fe.LahH5307,and you will be destroyedוּכְלִיתֶ֣םu.khe.li.TemH3615within itבְּתוֹכָ֔הּbe.to.KhahH8432.Then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
15And after I have ventedוְכִלֵּיתִ֤יve.khi.lei.TiH3615אֶת־'et-H853My wrathחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534against the wallבַּקִּ֔ירba.KirH7023and against those who whitewashed itוּבַטָּחִ֥יםu.va.ta.ChimH2902אֹת֖וֹ'o.ToH853תָּפֵ֑לta.FelH8602,I will sayוְאֹמַ֤רve.'o.MarH559to you: ‘The wallהַקִּ֔ירha.KirH7023is goneאֵ֣ין'einH369,andוְאֵ֖יןve.'EinH369soare those who whitewashedהַטָּחִ֥יםha.ta.ChimH2902itאֹתֽוֹ׃'o.ToH853—
