8I will setוְנָתַתִּ֨יve.na.ta.TiH5414My faceפָנַ֜יfa.NaiH6440against thatהַה֗וּאha.Hu'H1931manבָּאִ֣ישׁba.'IshH376and make himוַהֲשִֽׂמֹתִ֙יהוּ֙va.ha.si.mo.Ti.huH7760a signלְא֣וֹתle.'otH226and a proverbוְלִמְשָׁלִ֔יםve.lim.sha.LimH4912;I will cut him offוְהִכְרַתִּ֖יוve.hikh.ra.TivH3772from amongמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432My peopleעַמִּ֑י'a.MiH5971.Then you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

9But ifכִֽי־khi-H3588the prophetוְהַנָּבִ֤יאve.ha.na.Vi'H5030is enticedיְפֻתֶּה֙ye.fu.TehH6601to speakוְדִבֶּ֣רve.di.BerH1696a messageדָּבָ֔רda.VarH1697,then it was Iאֲנִ֤י'a.NiH589the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068who enticedפִּתֵּ֔יתִיpi.Tei.tiH6601אֵ֖ת'etH853himהַנָּבִ֣יא הַה֑וּאha.na.Vi' ha.Hu'H1931 H5030,and I will stretch outוְנָטִ֤יתִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186אֶת־'et-H853My handיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027against himעָלָ֔יו'a.LavH5921and destroy himוְהִ֨שְׁמַדְתִּ֔יוve.Hish.mad.TivH8045from amongמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

10They will bearוְנָשְׂא֖וּve.na.se.'UH5375their punishmentעֲוֹנָ֑ם'a.vo.NamH5771—the punishmentכַּֽעֲוֹן֙ka.'a.VonH5771of the inquirerהַדֹּרֵ֔שׁha.do.ReshH1875will beיִֽהְיֶֽה׃Yih.YehH1961the same as thatכַּעֲוֹ֥ןka.'a.VonH5771of the prophetהַנָּבִ֖יאha.na.Vi'H5030—
