2Then I lookedוָאֶרְאֶ֗הva.'er.'EhH7200and sawוְהִנֵּ֤הve.hi.NehH2009a figureדְמוּת֙de.MutH1823like that of a manכְּמַרְאֵה־ke.mar.'eh-H4758.From His waistמָתְנָ֛יוma.te.NavH4975downוּלְמַ֖טָּהu.le.Ma.tahH4295His appearanceמִמַּרְאֵ֥הmi.mar.'EhH4758was like fireH784,and from His waistוּמִמָּתְנָ֣יוu.mi.ma.te.NavH4975upוּלְמַ֔עְלָהu.le.Ma'.lahH4605Heכְּמַרְאֵה־ke.mar.'eh-H4758was as brightזֹ֖הַרZo.harH2096as the gleamכְּעֵ֥יןke.'EinH5869of amberהַחַשְׁמַֽלָה׃ha.chash.Ma.lahH2830.

4And thereשָׁ֔םShamH8033I sawוְהִ֨נֵּה־ve.Hi.neh-H2009the gloryכְּב֖וֹדke.VodH3519of the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,like the visionכַּמַּרְאֶ֕הka.mar.'EhH4758אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I had seenרָאִ֖יתִיra.'I.tiH7200in the plainבַּבִּקְעָֽה׃ba.bik.'AhH1237.

6“Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,”He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413, “do youאַתָּ֖ה'a.TahH859seeהֲרֹאֶ֥הha.ro.'EhH7200whatמָ֣ההֵ֣םme.hemH4100they are doingעֹשִׂ֑ים'o.SimH6213—the greatגְּדֹל֜וֹתge.do.LotH1419abominationsתּוֹעֵב֨וֹתto.'e.VotH8441thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל׀Yis.ra.'ElH3478is committingעֹשִׂ֣ים פֹּ֗ה'o.Sim PohH6213 H6311—to drive Me farלְרָֽחֳקָה֙le.ro.cho.KahH7368fromמֵעַ֣לme.'AlH5921My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֔יmik.da.ShiH4720?Yetוְעוֹד֙ תָּשׁ֣וּבve.'Od ta.ShuvH5750 H7725you will seeתִּרְאֶ֔הtir.'EhH7200even greaterגְּדֹלֽוֹת׃ סge.do.LotH1419abominationsתּוֹעֵב֖וֹתto.'e.VotH8441.”

7Then He broughtוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935meאֹתִ֖י'o.TiH853toאֶל־'el-H413the entranceפֶּ֣תַחPe.tachH6607to the courtהֶֽחָצֵ֑רhe.cha.TzerH2691,and I lookedוָאֶרְאֶ֕הva.'er.'EhH7200and sawוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009aאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259holeחֹר־chor-H2356in the wallבַּקִּֽיר׃ba.KirH7023.

8“Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120,”He toldוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413, “digחֲתָר־ נָ֣אcha.tor- na'H2864 H4994through the wallבַקִּ֑ירva.KirH7023.”So I dugוָאֶחְתֹּ֣רva.'ech.TorH2864through the wallבַּקִּ֔ירba.KirH7023and discoveredוְהִנֵּ֖הve.hi.NehH2009aאֶחָֽד׃'e.ChadH259doorwayפֶּ֥תַחPe.tachH6607.

9Then He saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to meאֵלָ֑י'e.LaiH413, “Go inבֹּ֤אbo'H935and seeוּרְאֵה֙u.re.'EhH7200אֶת־'et-H853the wickedהָרָע֔וֹתha.ra.'otH7451אֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834abominationsהַתּוֹעֵב֣וֹתha.to.'e.VotH8441theyהֵ֥םhemH1992are committingעֹשִׂ֖ים'o.SimH6213hereפֹּֽה׃PohH6311.”

10So I went inוָאָבוֹא֮va.'a.Vo'H935and lookedוָֽאֶרְאֶה֒va.'er.'EhH7200,andוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009engravedמְחֻקֶּ֥ה עַל־me.chu.Keh 'al-H2707 H5921allסָבִ֥יב׀sa.VivH5439aroundסָבִֽיב׃sa.VivH5439the wallהַקִּ֖ירha.KirH7023was everyכָל־khol-H3605kindתַּבְנִ֜יתtav.NitH8403of crawling creatureרֶ֤מֶשׂRe.mesH7431and detestableשֶׁ֔קֶץShe.ketzH8263beastוּבְהֵמָה֙u.ve.he.MahH929,along with allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the idolsגִּלּוּלֵ֖יgi.lu.LeiH1544of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.

11Before themלִפְנֵיהֶ֔םlif.nei.HemH6440stoodעֹמֵ֤ד'o.MedH5975seventyוְשִׁבְעִ֣יםve.shiv.'ImH7657eldersאִ֣ישׁ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י'ish mi.zik.NeiH376 H2205of the houseבֵֽית־veit-H1004of Israelיִ֠שְׂרָאֵלYis.ra.'elH3478,with Jaazaniahוְיַאֲזַנְיָ֨הוּve.ya.'a.zan.Ya.huH2970sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Shaphanשָׁפָ֜ןsha.FanH8227standingעֹמְדִ֣ים'o.me.DimH5975among themבְּתוֹכָם֙be.to.KhamH8432.Eachוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376had a censerמִקְטַרְתּ֖וֹmik.tar.ToH4730in his handבְּיָד֑וֹbe.ya.DoH3027,and a fragrantוַעֲתַ֥רva.'a.TarH6282cloudעֲנַֽן־'a.nan-H6051of incenseהַקְּטֹ֖רֶתha.ke.To.retH7004was risingעֹלֶֽה׃'o.LehH5927.

14Then He broughtוַיָּבֵ֣אvai.ya.Ve'H935meאֹתִ֗י'o.TiH853toאֶל־'el-H413the entranceפֶּ֙תַח֙pe.tachH6607of the northהַצָּפ֑וֹנָהha.tza.Fo.nahH6828gateשַׁ֣עַרSha.'arH8179of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068אֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834אֶל־'el-H413,and I sawוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009womenהַנָּשִׁ֣יםha.na.ShimH802sittingיֹֽשְׁב֔וֹתyo.she.VotH3427thereשָׁם֙shamH8033,weepingמְבַכּ֖וֹתme.va.KotH1058אֶת־'et-H853for Tammuzהַתַּמּֽוּז׃ סha.ta.MuzH8542.
