5By your greatבְּרֹ֧בbe.RoH7230skillחָכְמָתְךָ֛cha.khe.ma.te.KhaH2451in tradingבִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ֖bir.khu.la.te.KhaH7404you have increasedהִרְבִּ֣יתָhir.Bi.taH7235your wealthחֵילֶ֑ךָchei.Le.khaH2428,but your heartלְבָבְךָ֖le.va.ve.KhaH3824has grown proudוַיִּגְבַּ֥הּvai.yig.BahH1361because ofבְּחֵילֶֽךָ׃ סbe.chei.Le.khaH2428it.
7לָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651beholdהִנְנִ֨יhi.NiH2005,I will bringמֵבִ֤יאme.Vi'H935foreignersזָרִ֔יםza.RimH2114against youעָלֶ֙יךָ֙'a.Lei.khaH5921,the most ruthlessעָרִיצֵ֖י'a.ri.TzeiH6184of nationsגּוֹיִ֑םgo.YimH1471.They will drawוְהֵרִ֤יקוּve.he.Ri.kuH7324their swordsחַרְבוֹתָם֙char.vo.TamH2719againstעַל־'al-H5921the beautyיְפִ֣יye.FiH3308of your wisdomחָכְמָתֶ֔ךָcha.khe.ma.Te.khaH2451and will defileוְחִלְּל֖וּve.chi.le.LuH2490your splendorיִפְעָתֶֽךָ׃yif.'a.Te.khaH3314.
9Will you still sayH559, ‘Iאָ֔נִי'A.niH589am a godאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,’in the presenceלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440of those who slay youהֹֽרְגֶ֑ךָho.re.Ge.khaH2026?Youוְאַתָּ֥הve.'a.TahH859will be only a manאָדָ֛ם'a.DamH120,notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808a godאֵ֖ל'elH410,in the handsבְּיַ֥דbe.YadH3027of those who wound youמְחַלְלֶֽיךָ׃me.cha.Lei.khaH2490.

18By the multitudeמֵרֹ֣בme.RoH7230of your iniquitiesעֲוֹנֶ֗יךָ'a.vo.Nei.khaH5771and the dishonestyבְּעֶ֙וֶל֙be.'E.velH5766of your tradingרְכֻלָּ֣תְךָ֔re.khu.La.te.khaH7404you have profanedחִלַּ֖לְתָּchi.Lal.taH2490your sanctuariesמִקְדָּשֶׁ֑יךָmik.da.Shei.chaH4720.So I made fireאֵ֤שׁ'eshH784comeוָֽאוֹצִא־va.'o.tzi'-H3318from within youמִתּֽוֹכְךָ֙mi.tokh.KhaH8432,and itהִ֣יאhi'H1931consumed youאֲכָלַ֔תְךָ'a.kha.Lat.khaH398.I reducedוָאֶתֶּנְךָ֤va.'e.ten.KhaH5414you to ashesלְאֵ֙פֶר֙le.'E.ferH665onעַל־'al-H5921the groundהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776in the eyesלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of allכָּל־kol-H3605who saw youרֹאֶֽיךָ׃ro.'Ei.khaH7200.
19Allכָּל־kol-H3605the nationsבָּֽעַמִּ֔יםba.'a.MimH5971who know youיוֹדְעֶ֙יךָ֙yod.'Ei.khaH3045are appalledשָׁמְמ֖וּsha.me.MuH8074over youעָלֶ֑יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921.You have comeהָיִ֔יתָha.Yi.taH1961to a horrible endבַּלָּה֣וֹתba.la.HotH1091and will be no moreוְאֵינְךָ֖ עַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃ פve.'ei.ne.Kha 'ad- o.LamH369H5704H5769.’”
