Matthew 10:25-40
25It is enough for the discipleG3101 that he be as his teacherG1320, and the servantG1401 as his lordG2962. If they have calledG1941 the masterG2962 of the houseG3617 Beelzebub, howG5613 muchG4214 moreG3123 them of his household! 26FearG5399 them not thereforeG3767: for there isG1510 nothing coveredG2572, that shall not beG1510 revealedG601; and hid, that shall not beG1510 knownG1097. 27What I tellG3004 you in the darknessG4653, speakG3004 ye in the lightG5457; and what ye hearG191 in the earG3775, proclaimG2784 upon the house-tops. 28And be not afraidG5399 of them that killG615 the bodyG4983, but are not ableG1410 to killG615 the soulG5590: but ratherG3123 fearG5399 him who is ableG1410 to destroyG622 both soulG5590 and bodyG4983 in hellG1067. 29Are not twoG1417 sparrowsG4765 soldG4453 for a penny? and not oneG1520 of them shall fallG4098 on the groundG1093 without your FatherG3962: 30but the very hairsG2359 of your headG2776 areG1510 all numberedG705. 31FearG5399 not thereforeG3767: ye are of moreG4183 value than manyG4183 sparrowsG4765. 32Every one thereforeG3767 who shall confessG3670 me before menG444, him will I also confessG3670 before my FatherG3962 who is in heavenG3772. 33But whosoever shall denyG720 me before menG444, him will I alsoG1161 denyG720 before my FatherG3962 who is in heavenG3772.
34ThinkG3543 not that I cameG2064 to send peaceG1515 on the earthG1093: I cameG2064 not to send peaceG1515, but a swordG3162. 35For I cameG2064 to set a manG444 at variance against his fatherG3962, and the daughterG2364 against her motherG3384, and the daughterG2364 in law against her motherG3384 in law: 36and a man’sG444 foes shall be they of his own household. 37He that loveth fatherG3962 or motherG3384 more than me isG1510 not worthyG514 of me; and he that loveth sonG5207 or daughterG2364 more than me isG1510 not worthyG514 of me. 38And he that doth not takeG2983 his crossG4716 and followG190 after me, isG1510 not worthyG514 of me. 39He that findeth his lifeG5590 shall loseG622 it; and he that loseth his lifeG5590 for my sakeG1752 shall findG2147 it.
40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sentG649 me.
