Ezekiel 26:15-21
15ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah to TyreH6865: shall not the isles shakeH7493 at the soundH6963 of thy fall, when the woundedH2491 groanH602, when the slaughter is made in the midstH8432 of thee? 16Then all the princesH5387 of the seaH3220 shall comeH3381 down from their thronesH3678, and lay asideH5493 their robesH4598, and stripH6584 off their broidered garmentsH899: they shall clotheH3847 themselves with tremblingH2729; they shall sitH3427 upon the groundH776, and shall trembleH2729 every momentH7281, and be astonished at thee. 17And they shall takeH5375 up a lamentationH7015 over thee, and sayH559 to thee, HowH349 art thou destroyedH6, that wast inhabitedH3427 by seafaring men, the renowned cityH5892, that wasH1961 strongH2389 in the seaH3220, she and her inhabitantsH3427, that caused their terrorH2851 to beH1961 on all that dweltH3427 there! 18NowH6258 shall the isles trembleH2729 in the dayH3117 of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the seaH3220 shall be dismayedH926 at thy departure.
19For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: When I shall makeH5414 thee a desolate cityH5892, like the citiesH5892 that are not inhabitedH3427; when I shall bringH5927 up the deepH8415 upon thee, and the greatH7227 watersH4325 shall coverH3680 thee; 20then will I bringH3381 thee downH3381 with them that descend into the pitH953, to the peopleH5971 of old time, and will makeH5414 thee to dwellH3427 in the nether partsH8482 of the earthH776, in the placesH2723 that are desolate of old, with them that goH3381 down to the pitH953, that thou be not inhabitedH3427; and I will setH5414 glory in the landH776 of the living. 21I will makeH5414 thee a terrorH1091, and thou shalt no more have any being; though thou be soughtH1245 for, yetH5750 shalt thou never be foundH4672 againH5750, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
