Ezekiel 24:17-22
17Sigh, but not aloud, makeH7760 no mourningH60 for the deadH4191; bindH2280 thy headtire upon thee, and putH4191 thy shoes upon thy feetH7272, and coverH5844 not thy lips, and eatH398 not the breadH3899 of menH376. 18So I spake unto the peopleH5971 in the morningH1242; and at even my wifeH802 diedH4191; and I did in the morningH1242 as I was commandedH6680.
19And the peopleH5971 saidH559 unto me, Wilt thou not tellH5046 us what these thingsH428 are to us, that thou doest so? 20Then I saidH559 unto them, The wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559, 21Speak unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Behold, I will profaneH2490 my sanctuaryH4720, the prideH1347 of your power, the desireH5315 of your eyesH5869, and that which your soulH5315 pitieth; and your sonsH1121 and your daughtersH1323 whom ye have leftH5800 behind shall fallH5307 by the swordH2719. 22And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not coverH5844 your lips, nor eatH398 the breadH3899 of menH376.
