Deuteronomy 4:5-9
5Behold, I have taughtH3925 you statutesH2706 and ordinancesH4941, even as Jehovah my GodH430 commandedH6680 me, that ye should do soH3651 in the midstH7130 of the landH776 whither ye goH935 in to possessH3423 it. 6KeepH8104 therefore and do them; for this is your wisdomH2451 and your understandingH995 in the sight of the peoplesH5971, that shall hearH8085 all these statutesH2706, and sayH559, Surely this greatH1419 nationH1471 is a wiseH2450 and understandingH995 peopleH5971. 7For what greatH1419 nationH1471 is there, that hath a godH430 so nigh unto them, as Jehovah our GodH430 is whensoever we callH7121 upon him? 8And what greatH1419 nationH1471 is there, that hath statutesH2706 and ordinancesH4941 so righteousH6662 as all this lawH8451, which I setH5414 before you this dayH3117?
9OnlyH7535 take heedH8104 to thyself, and keepH8104 thy soulH5315 diligently, lestH6435 thou forgetH7911 the thingsH1697 which thine eyesH5869 sawH7200, and lestH6435 they departH5493 from thy heartH3824 all the daysH3117 of thy lifeH5315; but makeH3045 them knownH3045 unto thy children and thy children’s children;
