Deuteronomy 22:13-19
13If any manH376 takeH3947 a wifeH802, and goH935 in unto her, and hateH8130 her, 14and lay shameful thingsH1697 to her charge, and bringH3318 up an evilH7451 nameH8034 upon her, and sayH559, I tookH3947 this womanH802, and when I cameH3318 nigh to her, I foundH4672 not in her the tokens of virginityH1331; 15then shall the fatherH1 of the damsel, and her motherH517, takeH3947 and bringH3318 forthH3318 the tokens of the damsel’s virginityH1331 unto the eldersH2205 of the cityH5892 in the gateH8179; 16and the damsel’s fatherH1 shall sayH559 unto the eldersH2205, I gaveH5414 my daughterH1323 unto this manH376 to wifeH802, and he hateth her; 17and, lo, he hath laid shameful thingsH1697 to her charge, sayingH559, I foundH4672 not in thy daughterH1323 the tokens of virginityH1331; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’sH1323 virginityH1331. And they shall spreadH6566 the garmentH8071 before the eldersH2205 of the cityH5892. 18And the eldersH2205 of that cityH5892 shall takeH3947 the manH376 and chastise him; 19and they shall fine him a hundredH3967 shekels of silverH3701, and giveH5414 them unto the fatherH1 of the damsel, because he hath broughtH3318 up an evilH7451 nameH8034 upon a virginH1330 of IsraelH3478: and she shall beH1961 his wifeH802; he may not putH5414 her awayH7971 all his daysH3117.
