Deuteronomy 15:7-10
7If there beH1961 with thee a poor man, oneH259 of thy brethren, within any of thy gatesH8179 in thy landH776 which Jehovah thy GodH430 giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thy heartH3824, nor shutH7092 thy handH3027 from thy poor brotherH251; 8but thou shalt surely openH6605 thy handH3027 unto him, and shalt surely lendH5670 him sufficient for his need in that which he wanteth. 9Beware that there beH1961 not a base thought in thy heartH3824, sayingH559, The seventh yearH8141, the yearH8141 of release, is at hand; and thine eyeH5869 beH1961 evil against thy poor brotherH251, and thou giveH5414 him nought; and he cry unto Jehovah against thee, and it beH1961 sinH2399 unto thee. 10Thou shalt surely giveH5414 him, and thy heartH3824 shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him; because that for this thingH1697 Jehovah thy GodH430 will blessH1288 thee in all thy workH4639, and in all that thou puttest thy handH3027 unto.
