1 Corinthians 3

1And I, brethren, could not speakG2980 unto you as unto spiritualG4152, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in ChristG5547. 2I fed you with milkG1051, not with meat; for ye were not yetG3768 ableG1410 to bear it: nay, not evenG3761 nowG3568 are ye ableG1410; 3for ye areG1510 yet carnal: for whereas there isG1510 among you jealousyG2205 and strifeG2054, areG1510 ye not carnal, and do ye not walkG4043 after the manner of menG444? 4For whenG3752 oneG5100 saith, I amG1510 of PaulG3972; and another, I amG1510 of ApollosG625; areG1510 ye not menG444? 5What then isG1510 ApollosG625? and what isG1510 PaulG3972? Ministers through whom ye believedG4100; and each as the LordG2962 gaveG1325 to him. 6I plantedG5452, ApollosG625 wateredG4222; but GodG2316 gaveG4222 the increaseG837. 7SoG5620 thenG5620 neither isG1510 he that planteth anythingG5100, neither he that watereth; but GodG2316 that giveth the increaseG837. 8NowG1161 he that planteth and he that watereth areG1510 oneG1520: but each shall receiveG2983 his ownG2398 rewardG3408 accordingG2596 to his ownG2398 laborG2873. 9For we areG1510 God’s fellow-workers: ye areG1510 God’s husbandry, God’s buildingG3619.

10AccordingG2596 to the graceG5485 of GodG2316 which was givenG1325 unto me, as a wiseG4680 masterbuilder I laidG5087 a foundationG2310; and another buildeth thereon. But let each manG1538 takeG991 heedG991 howG4459 he buildeth thereon. 11For otherG243 foundationG2310 can no man lay than that which isG1510 laidG5087, which isG1510 JesusG2424 ChristG5547. 12But if any man buildeth on the foundationG2310 goldG5553, silverG694, costly stonesG3037, woodG3586, hay, stubble; 13each man’sG1538 workG2041 shall beG1510 made manifest: for the dayG2250 shall declare it, because it isG1510 revealedG601 in fireG4442; and the fireG4442 itself shall prove each man’sG1538 workG2041 of what sort it isG1510. 14If any man’s workG2041 shall abideG3306 which he builtG2026 thereon, he shall receiveG2983 a rewardG3408. 15If any man’s workG2041 shall be burnedG2618, he shall sufferG2210 lossG2210: but he himself shall be savedG4982; yet soG3779 as through fireG4442.

16Know ye not that ye areG1510 a templeG3485 of GodG2316, and that the SpiritG4151 of GodG2316 dwelleth in you? 17If any manG3778 destroyeth the templeG3485 of GodG2316, him shall GodG2316 destroy; for the templeG3485 of GodG2316 isG1510 holyG40, and such areG1510 ye.

18Let no manG3778 deceiveG1818 himself. If any manG3778 thinketh that he isG1510 wiseG4680 among you in this world, let him becomeG1096 a fool, that he may becomeG1096 wiseG4680. 19For the wisdomG4678 of this worldG2889 isG1510 foolishnessG3472 with GodG2316. For it isG1510 writtenG1125, He that taketh the wiseG4680 in their craftinessG3834: 20and againG3825, The LordG2962 knoweth the reasonings of the wiseG4680, that they areG1510 vain. 21Wherefore let no oneG3367 glory in menG444. For all thingsG3956 areG1510 yours; 22whether PaulG3972, or ApollosG625, or CephasG2786, or the worldG2889, or lifeG2222, or deathG2288, or thingsG3956 presentG1764, or thingsG3956 to comeG3195; all are yours; 23and ye are Christ’s; and ChristG5547 is God’s.
