1 Corinthians 12
1NowG1161 concerningG4012 spiritualG4152gifts, brethren, I wouldG2309 not have you ignorantG50. 2Ye know that whenG3753 ye wereG1510 GentilesG1484 ye wereG1510 ledG71 awayG520 unto those dumb idolsG1497, howsoever ye might beG1510 ledG71. 3Wherefore I makeG1107 known unto you, that no man speakingG2980 in the SpiritG4151 of GodG2316 saith, JesusG2424 is anathema; and no man can sayG3004, JesusG2424 is LordG2962, but in the HolyG40 SpiritG4151.
4NowG1161 there areG1510 diversities of giftsG5486, but the sameG846 SpiritG4151. 5And there areG1510 diversities of ministrations, and the sameG846 LordG2962. 6And there areG1510 diversities of workings, but the sameG846 GodG2316, who worketh all thingsG3956 in all. 7But to each oneG1538 is givenG1325 the manifestationG5321 of the SpiritG4151 to profit withal. 8For to oneG3739 is givenG1325 through the SpiritG4151 the wordG3056 of wisdomG4678; and to another the wordG3056 of knowledgeG1108, accordingG2596 to the sameG846 SpiritG4151: 9to another faithG4102, in the sameG846 SpiritG4151; and to another giftsG5486 of healingsG2386, in the oneG1520 SpiritG4151; 10and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecyG4394; and to another discernings of spiritsG4151: to another divers kindsG1085 of tonguesG1100; and to another the interpretationG2058 of tonguesG1100: 11but all these worketh the oneG1520 and the sameG846 SpiritG4151, dividing to each oneG1520 severally evenG2532 as he will.
12For as the bodyG4983 isG1510 oneG1520, and hath manyG4183 membersG3196, and all the membersG3196 of the bodyG4983, beingG1510 manyG4183, areG1510 oneG1520 bodyG4983; so alsoG2532 isG1510 ChristG5547. 13For in oneG1520 SpiritG4151 were we all baptizedG907 into oneG1520 bodyG4983, whether JewsG2453 or GreeksG1672, whether bond or freeG1658; and were all made to drinkG4222 of oneG1520 SpiritG4151. 14For the bodyG4983 isG1510 not oneG1520 memberG3196, but manyG4183. 15If the footG4228 shall sayG3004, Because I amG1510 not the handG5495, I amG1510 not of the bodyG4983; it isG1510 not therefore not of the bodyG4983. 16And if the earG3775 shall sayG3004, Because I amG1510 not the eyeG3788, I amG1510 not of the bodyG4983; it isG1510 not therefore not of the bodyG4983. 17If the wholeG3650 bodyG4983 were an eyeG3788, whereG4226 were the hearingG189? If the wholeG3650 were hearingG189, whereG4226 were the smelling? 18But nowG1161 hath GodG2316 setG5087 the membersG3196 each oneG1520 of them in the bodyG4983, even as it pleased him. 19And if they wereG1510 all oneG1520 memberG3196, whereG4226 wereG1510 the bodyG4983? 20But nowG1161 they are manyG4183 membersG3196, but oneG1520 bodyG4983. 21And the eyeG3788 cannot sayG3004 to the handG5495, I have no needG5532 of thee: or againG3825 the headG2776 to the feetG4228, I have no needG5532 of you. 22Nay, muchG4183 ratherG3123, those membersG3196 of the bodyG4983 which seemG1380 to beG1510 moreG3123 feeble areG1510 necessaryG316: 23and those parts of the bodyG4983, which we thinkG1380 to beG1510 less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honorG5092; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness; 24whereas our comely parts have no needG5532: but GodG2316 tempered the bodyG4983 together, givingG1325 more abundant honorG5092 to that part which lackedG5302; 25that there should beG1510 no schism in the bodyG4983; but that the membersG3196 should have the sameG846 care oneG240 for another. 26And whether oneG1520 memberG3196 suffereth, all the membersG3196 sufferG3958 with it; or oneG1520 memberG3196 is honored, all the membersG3196 rejoiceG4796 with it. 27NowG1161 ye areG1510 the bodyG4983 of ChristG5547, and severally membersG3196 thereof. 28And GodG2316 hath setG5087 some in the churchG1577, firstG4413 apostlesG652, secondly prophetsG4396, thirdly teachersG1320, then miracles, then giftsG5486 of healingsG2386, helps, governments, divers kindsG1085 of tonguesG1100. 29Are all apostlesG652? are all prophetsG4396? are all teachersG1320? are all workers of miracles? 30have all giftsG5486 of healingsG2386? do all speakG2980 with tonguesG1100? do all interpretG1329? 31But desireG2206 earnestlyG2206 the greaterG3173 giftsG5486. And moreover a most excellent wayG3598 showG1166 I unto you.
