1As He was goingG1607outG1607of the templeG2413,oneεἷςheisG1520of His disciplesμαθητῶνmathētōnG3101saidλέγειlegeiG3004to Him, “Teacherδιδάσκαλε,didaskaleG1320,lookἴδεideG2396!WhatG4217wonderfulG4217stonesλίθοιlithoiG3037andwhatG4217wonderfulG4217buildingsοἰκοδομαί.¶oikodomaiG3619!”

2And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424saidG3004to him,“Do you seeβλέπειςblepeisG991theseταύταςtautasG3778greatμεγάλαςmegalasG3173buildingsοἰκοδομάς;oikodomasG3619?Not one stoneλίθοςlithosG3037will be leftἀφεθῇaphethēaG863upon anotherλίθονlithonG3037,whichὃςhosG3739will not be tornG2647downκαταλυθῇ.¶kataluthēaG2647.”

3As He was sittingκαθημένουkathēmenouG2521onthe MountὄροςorosG3735of OlivesG1636oppositeκατέναντιkatenantiG2713the templeG2413,PeterΠέτροςPetrosG4074,JamesἸάκωβοςIakōbosG2385,JohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491,and AndrewἈνδρέας·AndreasG406were questioningἐπηρώταepērōtaG1905Him privatelyκατ᾽ ἰδίανkat᾽ idianG2596 G2398,

4“TellG3004us, whenπότεpoteG4219will theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778comeG1510aboutG1510,and whatτίtiG5101will be thesignσημεῖονsēmeionG4592whenὅτανhotanG3752allπάντα;¶pantaG3956theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778areG3195goingG3195toG3195be fulfilledσυντελεῖσθαιsunteleisthaiG4931?”

5And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424beganἤρξατοērxatoG757to sayλέγεινlegeinG3004to them,“SeeβλέπετεblepeteG991to it that noμήmēG3361oneτιςtisG5100misleadsπλανήσῃ.planēsēG4105you.

6ManyπολλοὶpolloiG4183will comeἐλεύσονταιeleusontaiG2064in My nameὀνόματίonomatiG3686,sayingλέγοντεςlegontesG3004, ‘I amεἰμι,eimiG1510He!’and they will misleadπλανήσουσιν.planēsousinG4105manyπολλοὺςpollousG4183.

7WhenὅτανhotanG3752you hearἀκούσητεakousēteG191of warsπολέμουςpolemousG4171and rumorsἀκοὰςakoasG189of warsπολέμων,polemōnG4171,do not be alarmedθροεῖσθε·throeistheG2360; those thingsmustδεῖdeiG1163takeG1096placeG1096; but that isnot yetοὔπωoupōG3768the endτέλος.telosG5056.

8For nationἔθνοςethnosG1484will riseἐγερθήσεταιegerthēsetaiG1453upG1453againstἐπ᾽ep᾽G1909nationἔθνοςethnosG1484,and kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932againstἐπὶepiG1909kingdomβασιλείαν·basileianG932;there will be earthquakesσεισμοὶseismoiG4578in variousκατὰkataG2596placesτόπους·topousG5117; there will alsobe faminesλιμοίlimoiG3042.TheseG3778thingsG3778are onlythe beginningἀρχὴarchēG746of birthὠδίνωνōdinōnG5604painsG5604.

9“Butbe on your guardΒλέπετεBlepeteG991; for they willhandG3860you overG3860to thecourtsσυνέδρια,sunedriaG4892,and you will be floggedδαρήσεσθεdarēsestheG1194in thesynagoguesσυναγωγὰςsunagōgasG4864,and you will standσταθήσεσθεstathēsestheG2476beforeἐπὶepiG1909governorsἡγεμόνωνhēgemonōnG2232and kingsβασιλέωνbasileōnG935for My sakeἕνεκενhenekenG1752,as a testimonyμαρτύριονmarturionG3142to them.

10And the gospelεὐαγγέλιον.euangelionG2098mustδεῖdeiG1163firstπρῶτονprōtonG4413be preachedκηρυχθῆναιkēruchthēnaiG2784to allπάνταpantaG3956the nationsἔθνηethnēG1484.

11And whenὅτανhotanG3752theyarrestἄγωσινagōsinG71you and handG3860you overG3860,do not worryG4305beforehandG4305aboutG4305whatτίtiG5101you are to sayλαλήσητεlalēsēteG2980,but sayλαλεῖτε·laleiteG2980whateverὃ ἐὰνho eanG3739 G1437is givenδοθῇdothēaG1325you at that timeὥρᾳ,hōraG5610;for you are not the ones speakingλαλοῦντεςlalountesG2980, but it isthe Holyἅγιον.hagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151.

12And brotherἀδελφὸςadelphosG80will betrayπαραδώσειparadōseiG3860brotherἀδελφὸνadelphonG80to deathθάνατονthanatonG2288,and a fatherπατὴρpatērG3962hischildτέκνον,teknonG5043;and childrenτέκναteknaG5043will riseἐπαναστήσονταιepanastēsontaiG1881upG1881againstἐπὶepiG1909parentsγονεῖςgoneisG1118andhave them putθανατώσουσινthanatōsousinG2289toG2289deathG2289.

13Andyou will be hatedμισούμενοιmisoumenoiG3404by everyoneπάντωνpantōnG3956becauseδιὰdiaG1223of My nameὄνομάonomaG3686,but it is the one who has enduredὑπομείναςhupomeinasG5278to the endτέλος,telosG5056whoοὗτοςhoutosG3778will be savedσωθήσεται.sōthēsetaiG4982.
