21WhenὅτανhotanG3752a strongἰσχυρὸςischurosG2478man,fullyG2528armedG2528,guardsφυλάσσῃphulassēG5442his ownἑαυτοῦhe'autouG1438houseαὐλήν,aulēnG833,his possessionsὑπάρχονταhuparchontaG5225aresecureἐν εἰρήνῃen eirēnēG1722 G1515.

22But whenἐπὰνepanG1875someonestrongerἰσχυρότεροςischuroterosG2478than he attacksἐπελθὼνepelthōnG1904him and overpowersνικήσῃnikēsēG3528him, that mantakesG142awayαἴρειaireiG142his armorπανοπλίανpanoplianG3833on whichᾗhēG3739he had reliedἐπεποίθει,epepoitheiG3982and distributesδιαδίδωσιν.diadidōsinG1239his plunderσκῦλαskulaG4661.

23The one who is not with Me is againstκατ᾽kat᾽G2596Me; and the one who does not gatherσυνάγωνsunagōnG4863with Me scattersσκορπίζει.¶skorpizeiG4650.

24“WhenὍτανHotanG3752the uncleanἀκάθαρτονakathartonG169spiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151comesG1831outG1831ofa personἀνθρώπου,anthrōpouG444,it passesδιέρχεταιdierchetaiG1330throughδι᾽di᾽G1223waterlessἀνύδρωνanudrōnG504placesτόπωνtopōnG5117seekingζητοῦνzētounG2212restἀνάπαυσιν.anapausinG372,and not findingεὑρίσκονheuriskonG2147any,it thenτότεtoteG5119saysλέγει·legeiG3004, ‘I will returnὑποστρέψωhupostrepsōG5290to my houseοἶκόνoikonG3624fromG3606whichG3606I cameG1831.’

25And when it comesἐλθὸνelthonG2064,it findsεὑρίσκειheuriskeiG2147it sweptσεσαρωμένονsesarōmenonG4563and putG2885inG2885orderκεκοσμημένον.kekosmēmenonG2885.

26ThenτότεtoteG5119it goesπορεύεταιporeuetaiG4198and bringsG3880alongG3880sevenἑπτά,heptaG2033otherἕτεραheteraG2087spiritsπνεύματαpneumataG4151moreπονηρότεραponēroteraG4190evilG4190than itselfἑαυτοῦhe'autouG1438,and they comeG1525inG1525and liveκατοικεῖkatoikeiG2730thereἐκεῖ·ekeiG1563;and the lastἔσχαταeschataG2078conditionof that personἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444becomesγίνεταιginetaiG1096worseχείροναcheironaG5501than the firstπρώτων.¶prōtōnG4413.”
