20So Joseph’sיוֹסֵ֜ףyo.SefH3130masterאֲדֹנֵ֨י'a.do.NeiH113tookוַיִּקַּח֩vai.yi.KachH3947him andputוַֽיִּתְּנֵ֙הוּ֙vai.yi.te.Ne.huH5414him into the prisonבֵּ֣ית הַסֹּ֔הַרbeit ha.So.harH1004H5470,the placeמְק֕וֹםme.KomH4725whereאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the king’sהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428prisonersאֲסִירֵ֥י'a.su.reiH615were confinedאֲסוּרִ֑ים'a.su.RimH631;and he was thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033in the prisonבְּבֵ֥ית הַסֹּֽהַר׃be.Veit ha.So.harH1004H5470.
21Butthe Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068was with Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130and extendedוַיֵּ֥טvai.YetH5186kindnessחָ֑סֶדCha.sedH2617to him, andgaveוַיִּתֵּ֣ןvai.yi.TenH5414him favorחִנּ֔וֹchi.NoH2580in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֖יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the wardenשַׂ֥רsarH8269of the prisonבֵּית־ הַסֹּֽהַר׃beit- ha.So.harH1004H5470.
22And the wardenשַׂ֤רsarH8269of the prisonבֵּית־ הַסֹּ֙הַר֙beit- ha.So.harH1004H5470putוַיִּתֵּ֞ןvai.yi.TenH5414Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130in chargeבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of allכָּל־kol-H3605the prisonersהָ֣אֲסִירִ֔םha.'a.si.RimH615whoאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834were in the prisonבְּבֵ֣ית הַסֹּ֑הַרbe.Veit ha.So.harH1004H5470;so that whateverכָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֤רkol- 'a.SherH3605H834was doneעֹשִׂים֙'o.SimH6213thereשָׁ֔םShamH8033, he wasresponsibleעֹשֶֽׂה׃'o.SehH6213for it.
23The wardenשַׂ֣רsarH8269of the prisonבֵּית־ הַסֹּ֗הַרbeit- ha.So.harH1004H5470did not superviseרֹאֶ֤הro.'EhH7200anythingכָּל־ מְא֙וּמָה֙kol- me.'U.mahH3605H3972under Joseph’s authorityבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027,becauseבַּאֲשֶׁ֥רba.'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068was with him; and,the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068made whateverוַֽאֲשֶׁר־va.'a.Sher-H834he didעֹשֶׂ֖ה'o.SehH6213prosperמַצְלִֽיחַ׃ סmatz.Li.achH6743.
