Genesis 3:11-16

11And He saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whoמִ֚יmiH4310toldהִגִּ֣ידhi.GidH5046you that you were nakedעֵירֹ֖ם'ei.RomH5903?Have you eatenאֲכָל־'a.khol-H398from the treeהָעֵ֗ץha.'EtzH6086from whichאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834I commandedצִוִּיתִ֛יךָtzi.vi.Ti.khaH6680you not to eatאָכָֽלְתָּ׃'a.Khal.taH398?”

12The manהָֽאָדָ֑םha.'a.DamH120saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “The womanהָֽאִשָּׁה֙ha.'i.ShahH802whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834You gaveנָתַ֣תָּהna.Ta.tahH5414to bewith me, she gaveנָֽתְנָה־na.te.nah-H5414me someמִן־min-H4480of the fruit ofthe treeהָעֵ֖ץha.'EtzH6086,and I ateוָאֹכֵֽל׃va.'o.KhelH398.”

13Then the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִ֛ים'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the womanלָאִשָּׁ֖הla.'i.ShahH802, “Whatמַה־mah-H4100is thisH2088thatyou have doneעָשִׂ֑ית'a.SitH6213?”And the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802saidוַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙va.To.merH559, “The serpentהַנָּחָ֥שׁha.na.ChashH5175deceivedH5378me, and I ateוָאֹכֵֽל׃va.'o.KhelH398.”

14Then the Lordיְהֹוָ֨הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִ֥ים׀'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559to the serpentהַנָּחָשׁ֮ha.na.ChashH5175, “Becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588you have doneעָשִׂ֣יתָ'a.Si.taH6213thisH2088,Cursedאָר֤וּר'a.RurH779are you moreH4480thanH4480allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605the livestockהַבְּהֵמָ֔הha.be.he.MahH929,And moreH4480thanH4480anyוּמִכֹּ֖לu.mi.KolH3605animalH2421of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֑הha.sa.DehH7704;On your bellyגְּחֹנְךָ֣ge.cho.ne.KhaH1512you shall goתֵלֵ֔ךְte.LekhH1980, Anddustוְעָפָ֥רve.'a.FarH6083you shall eatתֹּאכַ֖לto.KhalH398Allכָּל־kol-H3605the daysיְמֵ֥יye.MeiH3117of your lifeH2425;

15And I willmakeאָשִׁ֗ית'a.ShitH7896enemiesוְאֵיבָ֣ה׀ve.'ei.VahH342Of you and the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802, And of youroffspringזַרְעֲךָ֖zar.'a.KhaH2233and herDescendantזַרְעָ֑הּzar.'AhH2233; He shallbruiseיְשׁוּפְךָ֣ye.shu.fe.KhaH7779you on the headרֹ֔אשׁRoshH7218,And you shall bruiseתְּשׁוּפֶ֥נּוּte.shu.Fe.nuH7779Him on the heelעָקֵֽב׃ ס'a.KevH6119.”

16To the womanהָאִשָּׁ֣הha.'i.ShahH802He saidאָמַ֗ר'a.MarH559, “I will greatlyהַרְבָּ֤הhar.BahH7235multiplyאַרְבֶּה֙'ar.BehH7235Your painעִצְּבוֹנֵ֣ךְi.tze.vo.NekhH6093in childbirthוְהֵֽרֹנֵ֔ךְve.he.ro.NekhH2032,In painבְּעֶ֖צֶבbe.'E.tzevH6089you shalldeliverתֵּֽלְדִ֣יte.le.DiH3205childrenבָנִ֑יםva.NimH1121;Yet your desireתְּשׁ֣וּקָתֵ֔ךְte.Shu.ka.TekhH8669will be for your husbandאִישֵׁךְ֙'i.sheKhH376, Andhe shall ruleיִמְשָׁל־yim.shol-H4910over you.”
