Genesis 3:11-16

11And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat?” 121The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me some of the fruit of the tree, and I ate.” 13Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman said, “2The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” 14Then the Lord God said to the serpent, “3Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all the livestock, And more than any animal of the field; On your belly you shall go, And 4dust you shall eat All the days of your life;15And I will 56make enemies Of you and the woman, And of your 7offspring and her 8Descendant; 9He shall 10bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise Him on the heel.” 16To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply Your pain 11in childbirth, In pain you shall 12deliver children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And 13he shall rule over you.”
