36ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559: “Becauseיַ֣עַןYa.'anH3282your lewdnessH5179was pouredהִשָּׁפֵ֤ךְhi.sha.FekhH8210outH8210and your nakednessעֶרְוָתֵ֔ךְ'er.va.TekhH6172uncoveredוַתִּגָּלֶ֣הva.ti.ga.LehH1540through your obsceneH8457practicesH8457with your loversמְאַהֲבָ֑יִךְme.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157and with allכָּל־kol-H3605your detestableתוֹעֲבוֹתַ֔יִךְto.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441idolsגִּלּוּלֵ֣יgi.lu.LeiH1544,and because of the bloodוְכִדְמֵ֣יve.khid.MeiH1818of your sonsבָנַ֔יִךְva.Na.yikhH1121thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you gaveנָתַ֖תְּna.TatH5414to idols,

37thereforeלָ֠כֵןLa.khenH3651,beholdH2009, I am going togatherמְקַבֵּ֤ץme.ka.BetzH6908allכָּל־kol-H3605your loversמְאַהֲבַ֙יִךְ֙me.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you pleasedעָרַ֣בְתְּ'a.RavtH6149,allכָּל־kol-H3605those whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you lovedאָהַ֔בְתְּ'a.HavtH157asH5921wellH5921asH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605those whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834youhatedשָׂנֵ֑אתsa.NetH8130.So I will gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּי֩ve.ki.batz.TiH6908them againstH5921you from everyH5439directionH5439andexposeוְגִלֵּיתִ֤יve.gi.lei.TiH1540your nakednessעֶרְוָתֵךְ֙'er.va.teKhH6172to them so that they may seeוְרָא֖וּve.ra.'UH7200allכָּל־kol-H3605your nakednessעֶרְוָתֵֽךְ׃'er.va.TekhH6172.

38So I willjudgeוּשְׁפַטְתִּיךְ֙u.she.fa.tiKhH8199you as women who commitH5003adulteryH5003or shedוְשֹׁפְכֹ֖תve.sho.fe.KhotH8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818are judgedמִשְׁפְּטֵ֣יmish.pe.TeiH4941;and I will bringוּנְתַתִּ֕יךְu.ne.ta.TikhH5414on you the bloodדַּ֥םdamH1818ofwrathחֵמָ֖הche.MahH2534and jealousyוְקִנְאָֽה׃ve.kin.'AhH7068.

39I will also handבְּיָדָ֗םbe.ya.DamH5414 H3027you overH5414toyour lovers, and they will tearוְהָרְס֤וּve.ha.re.SuH2040downH2040your shrinesגַבֵּךְ֙ga.beKhH1354,demolishוְנִתְּצ֣וּve.ni.te.TzuH5422your highרָמֹתַ֔יִךְra.mo.Ta.yikhH7413placesH7413,stripוְהִפְשִׁ֤יטוּve.hif.Shi.tuH6584you of your clothingבְּגָדַ֔יִךְbe.ga.Da.yikhH899,takeוְלָקְח֖וּve.la.ke.ChuH3947away yourjewelsכְּלֵ֣י תִפְאַרְתֵּ֑ךְke.Lei tif.'ar.TekhH3627 H8597,and will leaveוְהִנִּיח֖וּךְve.hi.ni.ChukhH5117you nakedעֵירֹ֥ם'ei.RomH5903and bareוְעֶרְיָֽה׃ve.'er.YahH6181.

40They willinciteוְהֶעֱל֤וּve.he.'e.LuH5927acrowdקָהָ֔לka.HalH6951againstעָלַ֙יִךְ֙'a.La.yikhH5921you, and they will stoneוְרָגְמ֥וּ בָּאָ֑בֶןve.ra.ge.Mu ba.'A.venH7275 H68you and cutH1333you toH1333piecesH1333with their swordsבְּחַרְבוֹתָֽם׃be.char.vo.TamH2719.

41And they willburnוְשָׂרְפ֤וּve.sa.re.FuH8313your housesבָתַּ֙יִךְ֙va.Ta.yikhH1004with fireבָּאֵ֔שׁba.'EshH784and executeוְעָשׂוּ־ve.'a.su-H6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֔יםshe.fa.TimH8201against you in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of manyרַבּ֑וֹתra.BotH7227womenנָשִׁ֣יםna.ShimH802. Then I willputH7673anH7673endH7673to your prostitutionמִזּוֹנָ֔הmi.zo.NahH2181,and you will alsoוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571noלֹ֥אlo'H3808longerעֽוֹד׃odH5750payתִתְּנִי־ti.te.ni-H5414your loversאֶתְנַ֖ן'et.NanH868.

42So Iwill satisfyוַהֲנִחֹתִ֤יva.ha.ni.cho.TiH5117My furyחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534against you and My jealousyקִנְאָתִ֖יkin.'a.TiH7068will leaveוְסָ֥רָהve.Sa.rahH5493you, and I will be pacifiedוְשָׁ֣קַטְתִּ֔יve.Sha.ka.TiH8252andnoוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808longerעֽוֹד׃odH5750be angryאֶכְעַ֖ס'ekh.'AsH3707.

43Sinceיַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֤רYa.'an 'a.SherH3282 H834you havenot rememberedזָכַרְתְּ֙za.khar.tiH2142the daysיְמֵ֣יye.MeiH3117of your youthנְעוּרַ֔יִךְne.'u.Ra.yikhH5271but havecausedH7264Me unrestH7264by allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605theseH428thingsאֵ֑לֶּה'E.lehH428,beholdהֵ֜אhe'H1887,I inH1571turnH1571willbringנָתַ֗תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414your conductדַּרְכֵּ֣ךְ׀dar.KekhH1870downon your own headבְּרֹ֣אשׁbe.RoshH7218,”declaresנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, “so that you will not commitעָשִׂית֙a.si.tiH6213this outrageousH2154sinH2154inH5921additionH5921toH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605your otherabominationsתּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ׃to.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441.

44“Beholdהִנֵּה֙hi.NehH2009,everyoneכָּל־kol-H3605who quotesH4911proverbsהַמֹּשֵׁ֔לha.mo.ShelH4911will quoteH4911thisproverbיִמְשֹׁ֖לyim.SholH4911aboutעָלַ֥יִךְ'a.La.yikhH5921you, sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, ‘Likemotherכְּאִמָּ֖הke.'i.MahH517,like daughterבִּתָּֽהּ׃bi.TahH1323.’

45You are the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of your motherאִמֵּ֣ךְ'i.MekhH517,who loathedגֹּעֶ֥לֶתgo.'E.letH1602her husbandאִישָׁ֖הּ'i.ShahH376and childrenוּבָנֶ֑יהָu.va.Nei.haH1121. 47Yet you have not merelywalkedהָלַ֔כְתְּha.LakhtH1980in their waysבְדַרְכֵיהֶן֙ve.dar.khei.HenH1870andcommittedעָשִׂ֑יתa.si.tiH6213their abominationsוּבְתוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ןu.ve.to.'a.vo.tei.HenH8441; but, as if that weretooקָ֔טKatH6985littleכִּמְעַ֣טkim.'AtH4592,you also actedH7843moreH4480corruptlyוַתַּשְׁחִ֥תִיva.tash.Chi.tiH7843in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605your conductדְּרָכָֽיִךְ׃de.ra.Kha.yikhH1870thanH4480they.

48As I liveחַי־chai-H2416,”declaresנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, “Sodomסְדֹ֣םse.DomH5467,your sisterאֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְ'a.cho.TekhH269and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֑יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323havenot doneעָֽשְׂתָה֙'a.se.TahH6213as you and your daughtersוּבְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃u.ve.no.Ta.yikhH1323have doneעָשִׂ֔ית'a.SitH6213!

49Beholdהִנֵּה־hi.neh-H2009,thisזֶ֣הzehH2088was the guiltעֲוֹ֖ן'a.VonH5771of your sisterאֲחוֹתֵ֑ךְ'a.cho.TekhH269Sodomסְדֹ֣םse.DomH5467:she and her daughtersוְלִבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָve.liv.no.Tei.haH1323hadH1961arroganceגָּא֨וֹןga.'onH1347,plentyH7654of foodלֶ֜חֶםLe.chemH3899, andcarefreeהַשְׁקֵ֗טhash.KetH8252easeוְשַׁלְוַ֣תve.shal.VatH7962, but she did nothelpוְיַד־ הֶחֱזִֽיקָה׃ve.yad- he.che.Zi.kahH2388 H3027thepoorעָנִ֥י'a.NiH6041and needyוְאֶבְי֖וֹןve.'ev.YonH34.

50So they wereH1361haughtyוַֽתִּגְבְּהֶ֔ינָהva.tig.be.Hei.nahH1361and committedוַתַּעֲשֶׂ֥ינָהva.ta.'a.Sei.nahH6213abominationsתוֹעֵבָ֖הto.'e.VahH8441beforeלְפָנָ֑יle.fa.NaiH6440Me. Therefore Iremovedוָאָסִ֥ירva.'a.SirH5493themwhenH3512I sawרָאִֽיתִי׃ סra.'I.tiH7200it.

52Alsoגַּם־gam-H1571,bearשְׂאִ֣יse.'IH5375your disgraceכְלִמָּתֵ֗ךְkhe.li.ma.TekhH3639in that you havemadeH6419judgmentH6419favorableH6419for your sistersלַֽאֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְla.'a.cho.TekhH269.Because of your sinsבְּחַטֹּאתַ֛יִךְbe.cha.to.Ta.yikhH2403in whichH834you actedH8581moreמִמֵּ֑ךְmi.MekhH4480abominablyהִתְעַ֥בְתְּhit.'AvtH8581thanH4480they, they areH6663moreH4480inH6663theH6663rightH6663thanH4480you.
