1“Now you, sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָם֙'a.DamH120,getקַח־kach-H3947yourself a brickלְבֵנָ֔הle.ve.NahH3843,placeוְנָתַתָּ֥הve.na.ta.TahH5414it beforeלְפָנֶ֑יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440you, and inscribeוְחַקּוֹתָ֥ve.cha.ko.TaH2710a cityעִ֖יר'irH5892on it--Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

2ThenlayH5414siegeמָצ֗וֹרma.TzorH4692againstH5921it, buildוּבָנִ֤יתָu.va.Ni.taH1129a siegeH1785wallH1785,pileH8210upH8210an assaultH5550rampH5550,setH5414upH5414campsמַחֲנ֛וֹתma.cha.NotH4264,and placeוְשִׂים־ve.sim-H7760batteringH3733ramsH3733againstH5921it allH5439aroundH5439.

3Then getקַח־kach-H3947yourself an ironבַּרְזֶ֔לbar.ZelH1270plateמַחֲבַ֣תma.cha.VatH4227and setH5414it upH5414as an ironבַּרְזֶ֔לbar.ZelH1270wallקִ֣ירkirH7023betweenH996yourself and the cityהָעִ֑ירha.'IrH5892,and directוַהֲכִינֹתָה֩va.ha.khi.no.TahH3559your faceפָּנֶ֨יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440towardאֵלֶ֜יהָ'e.Lei.haH413it so thatit is under siegeבַמָּצוֹר֙va.ma.tzOrH4692,and besiegeוְצַרְתָּ֣ עָלֶ֔יהָve.tzar.Ta 'a.Lei.haH6696 H5921it. Thisהִ֖יאhi'H1931will be asignא֥וֹת'otH226to the houseלְבֵ֥יתle.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.

4“Then you are to lieשְׁכַב֙she.KhavH7901downH7901on your leftהַשְּׂמָאלִ֔יha.se.ma.LiH8042sideצִדְּךָ֣tzi.de.KhaH6654and putוְשַׂמְתָּ֛ve.sam.TaH7760the wrongdoingעֲוֹ֥ן'a.VonH5771of the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478on it; you shallbearתִּשָּׂ֖אti.Sa'H5375their wrongdoingעֲוֹנָֽם׃'a.vo.NamH5771for the numberמִסְפַּ֤רmis.ParH4557of daysהַיָּמִים֙hai.ya.MimH3117that you lieתִּשְׁכַּ֣בtish.KavH7901on it.

6When you have completedוְכִלִּיתָ֣ve.khi.li.TaH3615theseאֵ֗לֶּה'E.lehH428days,you shall lieוְשָׁ֨כַבְתָּ֜ve.Sha.khav.taH7901downH7901a secondשֵׁנִ֔יתshe.NitH8145timeH8145, buton your rightהַיְמָנִי֙hay.mo.niH3233sideצִדְּךָ֤tzi.de.KhaH6654,and bearוְנָשָׂ֖אתָve.na.Sa.taH5375the wrongdoingעֲוֹ֣ן'a.VonH5771of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063;I have assignedנְתַתִּ֥יוne.ta.TivH5414it to you for fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysH3117,a dayH3117foreach yearH8141.

7Then you shall directתָּכִ֣יןta.KhinH3559your faceפָּנֶ֔יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440towardוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413the siegeמְצ֤וֹרme.TzorH4692of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389with your armוּֽזְרֹעֲךָ֖u.ze.ro.'a.KhaH2220baredחֲשׂוּפָ֑הcha.su.FahH2834, andprophesyוְנִבֵּאתָ֖ve.ni.be.TaH5012againstעָלֶֽיהָ׃'a.Lei.haH5921it.

8Now beholdוְהִנֵּ֛הve.hi.NehH2009, I willputנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414ropesעֲבוֹתִ֑יםa.vo.TimH5688around you so that you cannotוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808turnתֵהָפֵ֤ךְte.ha.FekhH2015from your one sideמִֽצִּדְּךָ֙mi.tzi.de.KhaH6654to your otherצִדֶּ֔ךָtzi.De.khaH6654untilעַד־'ad-H5704you have completedכַּלּוֹתְךָ֖ka.lot.KhaH3615the daysיְמֵ֥יye.MeiH3117of your siegeמְצוּרֶֽךָ׃me.tzu.Re.khaH4692.

9“But as for you, takeקַח־kach-H3947wheatחִטִּ֡יןchi.TinH2406,barleyוּ֠שְׂעֹרִיםU.se.'o.rimH8184,beansוּפ֨וֹלu.FolH6321,lentilsוַעֲדָשִׁ֜יםva.'a.da.ShimH5742,milletוְדֹ֣חַןve.Do.chanH1764, andspeltוְכֻסְּמִ֗יםve.khu.se.MimH3698,and putוְנָתַתָּ֤הve.na.ta.TahH5414them in oneאֶחָ֔ד'e.ChadH259vesselבִּכְלִ֣יbikh.LiH3627and makeוְעָשִׂ֧יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213them into breadלְלָ֑חֶםle.La.chemH3899for yourself; you shall eatתֹּאכֲלֶֽנּוּ׃to.kha.Le.nuH398it according to the numberמִסְפַּ֨רmis.ParH4557of the daysהַיָּמִ֜יםhai.ya.MimH3117that you lieשׁוֹכֵ֣בsho.KhevH7901on your sideצִדְּךָ֗tzi.de.KhaH6654,390שְׁלֹשׁ־ מֵא֧וֹת וְתִשְׁעִ֛יםshe.losh- me.'ot ve.tish.'ImH7969 H3967 H8673daysי֖וֹםYomH3117.

11The waterוּמַ֛יִםu.Ma.yimH4325you drinkתִשְׁתֶּ֖הtish.TehH8354shall be asixthשִׁשִּׁ֣יתshi.ShitH8345of a hinהַהִ֑יןha.HinH1969by measureבִּמְשׂוּרָ֥הbim.su.RahH4884;you shall drinkתִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃tish.TehH8354it from timeמֵעֵ֥תme.'EtH6256to timeעֵ֖ת'etH6256.

12You shall eatתֹּֽאכֲלֶ֑נָּהto.kha.Le.nahH398it as a barleyשְׂעֹרִ֖יםse.'o.RimH8184cakeוְעֻגַ֥תve.'u.GatH5692,having bakedתְּעֻגֶ֖נָהte.'u.Ge.nahH5746itin their sightלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ סle.'ei.nei.HemH5869over humanהָֽאָדָ֔םha.'a.DamH120dungבְּגֶֽלְלֵי֙ צֵאַ֣תbe.ge.Lei tze.'AtH1561 H6627.”

13Then the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “In thisH3602wayH3602the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478will eatיֹאכְל֧וּyo.khe.LuH398their breadלַחְמָ֖םlach.MamH3899uncleanטָמֵ֑אta.Me'H2931among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֕םba.go.YimH1471whereאֲשֶׁ֥ר שָֽׁם׃'a.Sher ShamH834 H8033I will scatterאַדִּיחֵ֖ם'a.di.ChemH5080them.”

14But I saidוָאֹמַ֗רva.'o.MarH559, “Ohאֲהָהּ֙'a.HahH162,Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068!Beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009, I haveneverלֹ֣אlo'H3808beenH2930defiledH2930;for from my youthמִנְּעוּרַ֣יmi.ne.'u.RaiH5271untilוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704nowעַ֔תָּה'A.tahH6258I have neverלֹֽא־lo'-H3808eatenאָכַ֙לְתִּי֙'a.Khal.tiH398whatH5038diedH5038of itself or was tornוּטְרֵפָ֤הu.te.re.FahH2966byH2966animalsH2966,norוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808has anyuncleanפִּגּֽוּל׃ סpi.GulH6292meatבְּשַׂ֥רbe.SarH1320ever enteredבָ֥אva'H935my mouthבְּפִ֖יbe.FiH6310!”

15Then He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Seeרְאֵ֗הre.'EhH7200,I will giveנָתַ֤תִּֽיna.Ta.tiH5414you cow’sהַבָּקָ֔רha.ba.KarH1241dungצְפִיעֵ֣יtze.fu.'eiH6832inH8478placeתַּ֖חַתTa.chatH8478ofH8478humanהָֽאָדָ֑םha.'a.DamH120dungגֶּלְלֵ֣יge.LeiH1561,so that you may prepareוְעָשִׂ֥יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213your breadלַחְמְךָ֖lach.me.KhaH3899overעֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ס'a.lei.HemH5921it.”

16Moreover, He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to me, “Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָם֙'a.DamH120,beholdH2009, I am going tobreakשֹׁבֵ֤רsho.VerH7665the staffמַטֵּה־ma.teh-H4294of breadלֶ֙חֶם֙le.chemH3899in Jerusalemבִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םbi.Ru.sha.LimH3389,and they will eatוְאָכְלוּ־ve.'a.khe.lu-H398breadלֶ֥חֶםLe.chemH3899byweightבְּמִשְׁקָ֖לbe.mish.KalH4948and with anxietyוּבִדְאָגָ֑הu.vid.'a.GahH1674,and drinkיִשְׁתּֽוּ׃yish.TuH8354waterוּמַ֕יִםu.Ma.yimH4325bymeasureבִּמְשׂוּרָ֥הbim.su.RahH4884and in horrorוּבְשִׁמָּמ֖וֹןu.ve.shi.ma.MonH8078,
