5forJohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491baptizedἐβάπτισενebaptisenG907with waterὕδατι,hudatiG5204,but you will be baptizedβαπτισθήσεσθεbaptisthēsestheG907with the HolyἁγίῳhagiōG40SpiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151not manyπολλὰςpollasG4183daysἡμέρας.¶hēmerasG2250from nowμετὰ ταύταςmeta tautasG3326 G3778.”

6SoοὖνounG3767,when they had comeσυνελθόντεςsunelthontesG4905togetherG4905, they beganaskingἠρώτωνērōtōnG2065Him, sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,is it at thisτούτῳtoutōG3778timeχρόνῳchronōG5550that You are restoringἀποκαθιστάνειςapokathistaneisG600the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932to IsraelἸσραήλ;IsraēlG2474?”

7But He saidG3004to them,“It is not for you to knowγνῶναιgnōnaiG1097periodsG5550ofG5550timeG5550orἢēG2228appointedG2540timesG2540whichοὓςhousG3739the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962has setἔθετοethetoG5087by His ownἰδίᾳidiaG2398authorityἐξουσίᾳ,exousiaG1849;

8but you will receiveλήμψεσθεlēmpsestheG2983powerδύναμινdunaminG1411when the HolyἁγίουhagiouG40SpiritπνεύματοςpneumatosG4151has comeἐπελθόντοςepelthontosG1904upon you; and you shall beMy witnessesμάρτυρεςmarturesG3144bothτεteG5037in JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419and in allπάσῃpasēG3956JudeaἸουδαίᾳIoudaiaG2449, andSamariaΣαμαρείᾳSamareiaG4540,and asG2193farG2193asG2193the remotestG2078partἐσχάτουeschatouG2078of the earthγῆς.gēsG1093.”

9And after He had saidG3004theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778,He was liftedG1869upG1869while they were watchingβλεπόντωνblepontōnG991,and a cloudνεφέληnephelēG3507tookG5274Him upG5274,out of their sightὀφθαλμῶνophthalmōnG3788.

10And as they were gazingG816intentlyἀτενίζοντεςatenizontesG816into the skyοὐρανὸνouranonG3772while He was goingπορευομένουporeuomenouG4198,thenG2532beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,twoδύοduoG1417menἄνδρεςandresG435in whiteG3022clothingG2067stoodG3936besideG3936them,

11and they saidG3004, “MenἄνδρεςandresG435of GalileeΓαλιλαῖοι,GalilaioiG1057,whyτίtiG5101do you standἑστήκατεhestēkateG2476lookingG991into the skyοὐρανόν;ouranonG3772?ThisοὗτοςhoutosG3778JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424, whohas been takenG353upG353from you into heavenοὐρανὸνouranonG3772, willcomeἐλεύσεταιeleusetaiG2064in the sameG5158wayG5158as you have watchedἐθεάσασθεetheasastheG2300Him goπορευόμενονporeuomenonG4198into heavenοὐρανόν.¶ouranonG3772.”
