5forJohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491baptizedἐβάπτισενebaptisenG907with waterὕδατι,hudatiG5204,but you will be baptizedβαπτισθήσεσθεbaptisthēsestheG907with the HolyἁγίῳhagiōG40SpiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151not manyπολλὰςpollasG4183daysἡμέρας.¶hēmerasG2250from nowμετὰ ταύταςmeta tautasG3326 G3778.”

6SoοὖνounG3767when they had comeσυνελθόντεςsunelthontesG4905togetherG4905,they were askingἠρώτωνērōtōnG2065Him, sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,is it at thisτούτῳtoutōG3778timeχρόνῳchronōG5550You are restoringἀποκαθιστάνειςapokathistaneisG600the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932to IsraelἸσραήλ;IsraēlG2474?”

7He saidG3004to them,“It is not for you to knowγνῶναιgnōnaiG1097timesχρόνουςchronousG5550orἢēG2228epochsκαιροὺςkairousG2540whichοὓςhousG3739the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962has fixedἔθετοethetoG5087by His ownἰδίᾳidiaG2398authorityἐξουσίᾳ,exousiaG1849;

8but you will receiveλήμψεσθεlēmpsestheG2983powerδύναμινdunaminG1411when the HolyἁγίουhagiouG40SpiritπνεύματοςpneumatosG4151has comeἐπελθόντοςepelthontosG1904upon you; and you shall beMy witnessesμάρτυρεςmarturesG3144bothτεteG5037in JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419,and in allπάσῃpasēG3956JudeaG2453andSamariaΣαμαρείᾳSamareiaG4540,and evenἕωςhe'ōsG2193tothe remotestG2078partἐσχάτουeschatouG2078of the earthγῆς.gēsG1093.”

9And after He had saidG3004theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778,He was liftedἐπήρθηepērthēG1869up while they were lookingβλεπόντωνblepontōnG991on, and a cloudνεφέληnephelēG3507receivedὑπέλαβενhupelabenG5274Him out of their sightὀφθαλμῶνophthalmōnG3788.

10And as they were gazingG816intentlyἀτενίζοντεςatenizontesG816intothe skyοὐρανὸνouranonG3772while He was goingπορευομένουporeuomenouG4198,beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,twoδύοduoG1417menἄνδρεςandresG435in whiteG3022clothingG2067stoodG3936besideG3936them.

11They alsoκαὶkaiG2532saidG3004, “MenἄνδρεςandresG435of GalileeΓαλιλαῖοι,GalilaioiG1057,whyτίtiG5101do you standἑστήκατεhestēkateG2476lookingG991intothe skyοὐρανόν;ouranonG3772?ThisοὗτοςhoutosG3778JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424, whohas been takenἀναλημφθεὶςanalēmphtheisG353up from you into heavenοὐρανὸνouranonG3772, willcomeἐλεύσεταιeleusetaiG2064in justοὕτωςhoutōsG3779the sameG5158wayG5158as you have watchedἐθεάσασθεetheasastheG2300Him goπορευόμενονporeuomenonG4198into heavenοὐρανόν.¶ouranonG3772.”
