Galatians 1:10-24

10For am I nowG737 1seekingG3982 the favorG3982 of menG444, orG2228 of GodG2316? OrG2228 am I strivingG2212 to pleaseG700 menG444? IfG1487 I were stillG2089 trying to pleaseG700 menG444, I would not be a 2bond-servantG1401 of ChristG5547.

11For 3I would haveG1107 you knowG1107, brethrenG80, that the gospelG2098 which was preachedG2097 by me is 4not accordingG2596 to manG444. 12For 5I neitherG3761 receivedG3880 it from manG444, norG3777 was I taughtG1321 it, but I received it throughG1223 a 6revelationG602 of JesusG2424 ChristG5547.

13For you have heardG191 of 7my formerG4218 mannerG391 of lifeG391 in JudaismG2454, howG3754 I 8used to persecuteG1377 9the churchG1577 of GodG2316 beyondG2596G5236 measureG5236 and 10tried to destroyG4199 it; 14and I 11was advancingG4298 in JudaismG2454 beyondG5228 manyG4183 of my contemporariesG4915 amongG1722 my 12countrymenG1085, beingG5225 moreG4053 extremelyG4053 zealousG2207 for my 13ancestralG3967 traditionsG3862. 15But whenG3753 God, who had setG873 me apartG873 even from my mother’sG3384 wombG2836 and 14calledG2564 me throughG1223 His graceG5485, was pleasedG2106 16to revealG601 His SonG5207 in me soG2443 that I might 15preachG2097 Him amongG1722 the GentilesG1484, 16I did not immediatelyG2112 consultG4323 with 1718fleshG4561 and bloodG129, 1719norG3761 did I goG424 up to JerusalemG2414 to thoseG3588 who were apostlesG652 beforeG4253 me; but I wentG565 awayG565 to ArabiaG688, and returnedG5290 onceG3825 moreG3825 to 20DamascusG1154.

18ThenG1899 21threeG5140 yearsG2094 laterG3326 I wentG424 up 22to JerusalemG2414 to 23becomeG2477 acquaintedG2477 with 24CephasG2786, and stayedG1961 with him fifteenG1178 daysG2250. 19But I did not seeG3708 anyG2087 otherG2087 of the apostlesG652 exceptG1508 2526JamesG2385, the Lord’sG2962 brotherG80. 20(NowG1161 in whatG3739 I am writingG1125 to you, 27I assureG2400 you 28beforeG1799 GodG2316 that I am not lyingG5574.) 21ThenG1899 29I wentG2064 into the regionsG2824 of 30SyriaG4947 and 31CiliciaG2791. 22I was still unknownG50 by 32sightG4383 to 33the churchesG1577 of JudeaG2453 which were 34in ChristG5547; 23but onlyG3440, they kept hearingG191, “He who onceG4218 persecutedG1377 us is nowG3568 preachingG2097 35the faithG4102 whichG3739 he onceG4218 36tried to destroyG4199.” 24And they 37were glorifyingG1392 GodG2316 38becauseG1722 of me.
