23And it cameG1096 to passG1096 that he went on the sabbathG4521 through the cornfields; and his disciplesG3101 beganG757 to walk on, plucking the ears. 24And the PhariseesG5330 saidG3004 to him, BeholdG2396, whyG5101 do they on the sabbathG4521 what is not lawfulG1832? 25And he saidG3004 to them, Have ye neverG3763 readG314 what DavidG1138 did whenG3753 he had needG5532 and hungered, he and those with him, 26howG4459 he enteredG1525 into the houseG3624 of 1GodG2316, in [the section of] Abiathar [the] highG749 priestG749, and ateG2068 the shew-bread, which it isG1510 not lawfulG1832 unless for the priestsG749 to eatG2068, and gaveG1325 evenG2532 to those that wereG1510 with him? 27And he saidG3004 to them, The sabbathG4521 was made on accountG1223 of manG444, not manG444 on accountG1223 of the sabbathG4521; 28so that the SonG5207 of manG444 isG1510 lordG2962 of the sabbathG4521 alsoG2532.
