Hebrews 9:18-24
Whence neither the firstG4413 was inaugurated without bloodG129.
For every commandmentG1785 having been spokenG2980 accordingG2596 to [the] lawG3551 by MosesG3475 to all the peopleG2992; having takenG2983 the bloodG129 of calvesG3448 and goatsG5131, with waterG5204 and scarletG2847 woolG2053 and hyssopG5301, he sprinkled both the bookG975 itself and all the peopleG2992,
sayingG3004, This [is] the bloodG129 of the covenantG1242 which 1GodG2316 has enjoined to you.
And the tabernacleG4633 too and all the vesselsG4632 of serviceG3009 he sprinkled in like manner with bloodG129;
and almostG4975 all thingsG3956 are purified with bloodG129 accordingG2596 to the lawG3551, and without blood-shedding there is no remission.
[It was] necessaryG318 thenG3767 that the figurative representations of the thingsG3778 in the heavensG3772 should be purified with these; but the heavenlyG2032 thingsG3778 themselves with sacrificesG2378 better than these.
For the ChristG5547 is not enteredG1525 into holyG40 places made with hand, figures of the trueG228, but into heavenG3772 itself, nowG3568 to appear before the faceG4383 of 2GodG2316 for us:
