Exodus 7:8-13
And Jehovah spoke to MosesH4872 and to AaronH175, sayingH559,
When PharaohH6547 shall speakH1696 to you, sayingH559, Do a miracle for yourselves, — then thou shalt sayH559 unto AaronH175, TakeH3947 thy staffH4294 and castH7993 [it] before PharaohH6547 — it will becomeH1961 a serpentH8577.
And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 wentH935 in to PharaohH6547, and did soH3651, as Jehovah had commandedH6680; and AaronH175 castH7993 downH7993 his staffH4294 before PharaohH6547, and before his bondmen, and it becameH1961 a serpentH8577.
And PharaohH6547 alsoH1571 calledH7121 the sages and the sorcerersH3784; and they too, the scribes of EgyptH4714, did soH3651 with their enchantments:
they castH7993 down every manH376 his staffH4294, and they becameH1961 serpentsH8577; but Aaron's staffH4294 swallowedH1104 up their staves.
And Pharaoh's heartH3820 was stubborn, and he hearkened not to them, as Jehovah had saidH1696.
