Exodus 34:12-26
TakeH8104 heedH8104 to thyself, that thou makeH3772 no covenantH1285 with the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776 to which thou shalt comeH935, lestH6435 it beH1961 a snareH4170 in the midstH7130 of thee;
but ye shall demolish their altarsH4196, shatterH7665 their statues, and hew downH5422 their Asherahs.
For thou shalt worship no otherH312 1GodH410; for Jehovah — JealousH7067 is his nameH8034 — is a jealousH7067 2GodH410;
lestH6435 thou makeH3772 a covenantH1285 with the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776, and then, when they go a whoring after their 3godsH430, and sacrificeH2077 unto their 4godsH430, thou be invited, and eatH398 of their sacrificeH2077,
and thou takeH3947 of their daughtersH1323 unto thy sonsH1121, and their daughtersH1323 go a whoring after their 5godsH430, and make thy sonsH1121 go a whoring after their 6godsH430.
— Thou shalt makeH6213 thyself no molten 7godsH430.
— The feastH2282 of the unleavenedH4682 breadH4682 shalt thou keepH8104: sevenH7651 daysH3117 shalt thou eatH398 unleavenedH4682 breadH4682, as I have commandedH6680 thee, at the appointedH4150 time of the monthH2320 AbibH24; for in the monthH2320 AbibH24 thou camest out from EgyptH4714.
— All that openeth the wombH7358 [is] mine; and all the cattle that is born a male, the firstling of oxH7794 and sheepH7716.
But the firstling of an ass thou shalt ransomH6299 with a lambH7716; and if thou ransomH6299 [it] not, then shalt thou breakH6202 its neckH6202. All the first-born of thy sonsH1121 thou shalt ransomH6299; and none shall appearH7200 before me emptyH7387.
— SixH8337 daysH3117 shalt thou workH5647, but on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 thou shalt rest; in ploughing time and in harvestH7105 thou shalt rest.
— And thou shalt observeH6213 the feastH2282 of weeksH7620, of the first-fruits of wheat-harvest, and the feastH2282 of ingatheringH614 at the turn of the yearH8141.
Thrice in the yearH8141 shall all thy malesH2138 appearH7200 before the Lord Jehovah, the 8GodH430 of IsraelH3478.
For I will dispossessH3423 the nationsH1471 before thee, and enlargeH7337 thy borderH1366, and no manH376 shall desireH2530 thy landH776, when thou goest up to appearH7200 before the faceH6440 of Jehovah thy 9GodH430 thrice in the yearH8141.
— Thou shalt not offer the bloodH1818 of my sacrificeH2077 with leavenH2557; neither shall the sacrificeH2077 of the feastH2282 of the passoverH6453 be left over night until the morningH1242.
— The firstH7225 of the first-fruits of thy landH127 shalt thou bringH935 into the houseH1004 of Jehovah thy 10GodH430. Thou shalt not boilH1310 a kid in its mother's milkH2461.
