Exodus 32:4-19
And he tookH3947 [them] out of their handH3027, and fashioned it with a chisel and madeH6213 of it a molten calfH5695: and they saidH559, This is thy 1godH430, IsraelH3478, who has broughtH5927 thee up out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714!
And AaronH175 sawH7200 [it], and builtH1129 an altarH4196 before it; and AaronH175 made a proclamation, and saidH559, To-morrow is a feastH2282 to Jehovah!
And they roseH6965 up earlyH7925 on the morrow, and offeredH5927 up burnt-offerings, and broughtH5927 peace-offerings; and the peopleH5971 satH3427 downH3427 to eatH398 and to drinkH8354, and roseH6965 up to sport.
Then Jehovah saidH1696 to MosesH4872, Away, goH5927 down! for thy peopleH5971, which thou hast broughtH5927 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, is actingH7843 corruptlyH7843.
They have turnedH5493 asideH5493 quicklyH4118 out of the wayH1870 that I commandedH6680 them: they have madeH6213 themselves a molten calfH5695, and have bowedH7812 downH7812 to it, and have sacrificedH2076 thereunto, and saidH559, This is thy 2godH430, IsraelH3478, who has broughtH5927 thee up out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714!
And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, I seeH7200 this peopleH5971, and behold, it is a stiff-necked peopleH5971.
And nowH6258 let me alone, that my angerH639 may burnH2734 against them, and I may consume them; and I will makeH6213 of thee a greatH1419 nationH1471.
And MosesH4872 besought Jehovah his 3GodH430, and saidH559, WhyH4100, Jehovah, doth thy wrath burnH2734 against thy peopleH5971, which thou hast broughtH3318 forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 with greatH1419 power and with a strongH2389 handH3027?
WhyH4100 should the EgyptiansH4713 speak, and sayH559, For misfortune he has broughtH3318 them out, to slayH2026 them on the mountainsH2022, and to annihilate them from the faceH6440 of the earthH127? TurnH7725 from the heat of thine angerH639, and repent of this evilH7451 against thy peopleH5971!
RememberH2142 AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327 and IsraelH3478, thy servantsH5650, to whom thou sworest by thyself, and saidst to them, I will multiplyH7235 your seedH2233 as the starsH3556 of heavenH8064, and all this landH776 that I have spokenH1696 of will I giveH5414 to your seedH2233, and they shall possessH5157 [it] for everH5769!
And Jehovah repentedH5162 of the evilH7451 that he had saidH1696 he would do to his peopleH5971.
And MosesH4872 turnedH6437 and wentH3381 downH3381 from the mountainH2022, [with] the twoH8147 tables of the testimonyH5715 in his handH3027 — tables writtenH3789 on both their sidesH5676: on this sideH5676 and on that were they writtenH3789.
And the tables [were] 4God's workH4639, and the writing was 5God's writing, engraven on the tables.
And JoshuaH3091 heardH8085 the noise of the peopleH5971 as they shoutedH7452, and saidH559 to MosesH4872, There is a shout of warH4421 in the campH4264.
And he saidH559, It is not the soundH6963 of a shout of victory, neither is it the soundH6963 of a shout of defeat: it is the noise of alternate singing I hearH8085.
And it came to pass, when he came near the campH4264, and sawH7200 the calfH5695 and the dancingH4246, that Moses' angerH639 burnedH2734, and he castH7993 the tables out of his handsH3027, and shatteredH7665 them beneath the mountainH2022.
