Exodus 30:12-16
When thou shalt takeH5375 the sum of the children of IsraelH3478 according to those of them that are numbered, then shall they giveH5414 every manH376 a ransomH3724 for his soulH5315 to Jehovah on their being numbered, that there beH1961 no plagueH5063 among them on their being numbered.
This shall they giveH5414 — every oneH2088 that passeth among them that are numbered — halfH4276 a shekelH8255 after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944, — twentyH6242 gerahsH1626 the shekelH8255; a halfH4276 shekelH8255 shall be the heave-offering for Jehovah.
Every one that passeth among those that are numbered, from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 old and above, shall giveH5414 the heave-offering of Jehovah.
The richH6223 shall not giveH5414 more, and the poorH1800 shall not giveH5414 less than halfH4276 a shekelH8255, when ye giveH5414 the heave-offering of Jehovah, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315.
And thou shalt takeH3947 the atonement-money of the children of IsraelH3478, and devote it to the serviceH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150; and it shall beH1961 a memorialH2146 to the children of IsraelH3478 before Jehovah, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315.
