Exodus 28:4-37
And these are the garmentsH899 which they shall makeH6213: a breastplate, and an ephodH646, and a cloak, and a checkered vest, a turbanH4701, and a girdle; and they shall makeH6213 holyH6944 garmentsH899 for AaronH175 thy brotherH251, and his sonsH1121, that he may serveH3547 me as priestH3547.
And they shall takeH3947 goldH2091, and blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8144, and twined byssus,
and shall makeH6213 the ephodH646 of goldH2091, blueH8504, and purpleH713, scarletH8144 and twined byssus, of artistic workH4639.
It shall have twoH8147 shoulder-pieces joinedH2266 at the twoH8147 endsH7098 thereof, where it isH1961 joinedH2266 togetherH2266.
And the girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall beH1961 of the same, according to its workH4639 of goldH2091, blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8144 and twined byssus.
And thou shalt takeH3947 twoH8147 onyxH7718 stonesH68, and engrave on them the namesH8034 of the children of IsraelH3478:
sixH8337 of their namesH8034 on the oneH259 stoneH68, and the sixH8337 namesH8034 of the rest on the other stoneH68, according to their birth.
According to the workH4639 of an engraverH2796 in stoneH68, as the engravingsH6603 of a sealH2368, shalt thou engrave the twoH8147 stonesH68 with the namesH8034 of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478; surrounded by enclosures of goldH2091 shalt thou makeH6213 them.
And thou shalt putH7760 the twoH8147 stonesH68 upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephodH646 [as] stonesH68 of memorialH2146 for the children of IsraelH3478; and AaronH175 shall bearH5375 their namesH8034 before Jehovah upon his twoH8147 shouldersH3802 for a memorialH2146.
And thou shalt makeH6213 enclosures of goldH2091;
and twoH8147 chainsH8333 of pureH2889 goldH2091; of laced workH4639 shalt thou makeH5414 them, of wreathen workH4639, and fasten the wreathen chainsH8333 to the enclosures.
And thou shalt makeH6213 the breastplate of judgmentH4941 of artistic workH4639, like the workH4639 of the ephodH646 thou shalt makeH6213 it; of goldH2091, blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8144, and twined byssus shalt thou makeH6213 it.
SquareH7251 shall it beH1961, doubledH3717; a spanH2239 the lengthH753 thereof, and a spanH2239 the breadthH7341 thereof.
And thou shalt set in it settings of stonesH68 — fourH702 rowsH2905 of stonesH68: [oneH259] rowH2905, a sardoin, a topazH6357, and an emerald — the first rowH2905;
and the secondH8145 rowH2905, a carbuncle, a sapphireH5601, and a diamond;
and the thirdH7992 rowH2905, an opal, an agateH7618, and an amethystH306;
and the fourthH7243 rowH2905, a chrysolite, and an onyxH7718, and a jasperH3471; enclosed in goldH2091 shall they beH1961 in their settings.
And the stonesH68 shall beH1961 according to the namesH8034 of the children of IsraelH3478, twelve, according to their namesH8034, engraved as a sealH2368: every oneH376 according to his nameH8034 shall they beH1961 for the twelve tribesH7626.
And thou shalt makeH6213 on the breastplate chains of laced workH4639, of wreathen workH4639, of pureH2889 goldH2091.
And thou shalt makeH5414 on the breastplate twoH8147 ringsH2885 of goldH2091, and shalt putH5414 the twoH8147 ringsH2885 on the twoH8147 endsH7098 of the breastplate.
And thou shalt putH5414 the twoH8147 wreathen [cordsH5688] of goldH2091 in the twoH8147 ringsH2885 on the endsH7098 of the breastplate;
and the twoH8147 endsH7098 of the twoH8147 wreathen [cordsH5688] thou shalt fasten to the twoH8147 enclosures, and shalt putH5414 [them] on the shoulder-pieces of the ephodH646, on the front thereof.
And thou shalt makeH7760 twoH8147 ringsH2885 of goldH2091, and shalt putH7760 them on the twoH8147 endsH7098 of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephodH646 inwards.
And twoH8147 ringsH2885 of goldH2091 shalt thou makeH5414, and shalt putH5414 them upon the twoH8147 shoulder-pieces of the ephodH646 underneath, to the front thereof just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephodH646.
And they shall bind the breastplate with its ringsH2885 to the ringsH2885 of the ephodH646 with a lace of blueH8504, that it may beH1961 above the girdle of the ephodH646, and that the breastplate beH1961 not loosed from the ephodH646.
And AaronH175 shall bearH5375 the namesH8034 of the children of IsraelH3478 in the breastplate of judgmentH4941 on his heartH3820, when he goesH935 in to the sanctuaryH6944, for a memorialH2146 before Jehovah continuallyH8548.
And thou shalt putH5414 into the breastplate of judgmentH4941 the UrimH224 and the ThummimH8550, that they may beH1961 upon Aaron's heartH3820 when he goeth in before Jehovah; and AaronH175 shall bearH5375 the judgmentH4941 of the children of IsraelH3478 upon his heartH3820 before Jehovah continuallyH8548.
And thou shalt makeH6213 the cloak of the ephodH646 all of blueH8504.
And its openingH6310 for the headH7218 shall beH1961 in the midstH8432 thereof; there shall beH1961 a binding of woven workH4639 at its openingH6310 roundH5439 about; as the openingH6310 of a coat of mail, it shall beH1961 in it — it shall not rend.
And on the skirtsH7757 thereof thou shalt makeH6213 pomegranatesH7416 of blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8144, roundH5439 about the skirtsH7757 thereof; and bellsH6472 of goldH2091 between them roundH5439 about:
a golden bellH6472 and a pomegranateH7416, a golden bellH6472 and a pomegranateH7416, in the skirtsH7757 of the cloak roundH5439 about.
And it shall beH1961 on AaronH175 for service; that his soundH6963 may beH1961 heardH8085 when he goeth into the sanctuaryH6944 before Jehovah, and when he cometh out, that he may not dieH4191.
And thou shalt makeH6213 a thin plateH6731 of pureH2889 goldH2091, and engrave on it, as the engravingsH6603 of a sealH2368, HolinessH6944 to Jehovah!
And thou shalt putH7760 it on a lace of blueH8504, and it shall beH1961 upon the turbanH4701 — upon the front of the turbanH4701 shall it beH1961.
