Darby Bible
Exodus 23:6-12
6Thou shalt not pervert the judgmentH4941 of thy poor in his causeH7379.
7Thou shalt keep farH7368 from the cause of falsehoodH8267; and the innocentH5355 and righteousH6662 slayH2026 not; for I will not justifyH6663 the wickedH7563.
8And thou shalt takeH3947 no bribeH7810; for the bribeH7810 blindeth those whose eyes are open, and perverteth the wordsH1697 of the righteousH6662.
9And the stranger thou shalt not oppressH3905; for ye knowH3045 the spirit of the stranger, for ye have beenH1961 strangers in the landH776 of EgyptH4714.
10And sixH8337 yearsH8141 thou shalt sowH2232 thy landH776, and gatherH622 in its produceH8393;
11but in the seventhH7637 thou shalt let it restH3499 and lie [fallow], that the poor of thy peopleH5971 may eatH398 [of it]; and what they leaveH5203, the beasts of the fieldH7704 shall eatH398. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyardH3754, and with thine olive-tree.
12— SixH8337 daysH3117 thou shalt do thy workH4639, but on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 thou shalt restH5117; that thine oxH7794 and thine ass may restH5117, and the sonH1121 of thy handmaid, and the stranger may be refreshedH5314.
