Exodus 19:9-25

9And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, Lo, I will comeH935 to thee in the cloud's thick darkness, that the peopleH5971 may hearH8085 when I speakH1696 with thee, and believeH539 thee alsoH1571 for everH5769. And MosesH4872 toldH5046 the wordsH1697 of the peopleH5971 to Jehovah. 10And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, Go to the peopleH5971, and hallow them to-day and to-morrow, and let them washH3526 their clothesH8071; 11and let them beH1961 ready for the thirdH7992 dayH3117; for on the thirdH7992 dayH3117 Jehovah will come down before the eyesH5869 of all the peopleH5971 on mount SinaiH5514. 12And setH1379 bounds roundH5439 about the peopleH5971, sayingH559, TakeH8104 heedH8104 to yourselves, [not] to goH5927 up unto the mountainH2022 nor touchH5060 the borderH7097 of it: whatever toucheth the mountainH2022 shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191: 13not a handH3027 shall touchH5060 it, but it shall certainly be stonedH5619, or shotH3384 through; whether it be a beast or a manH376, it shall not liveH2421. When the long drawnH4900 note of the trumpet soundeth, they shall comeH5927 up to the mountainH2022. 14And MosesH4872 cameH3381 downH3381 from the mountainH2022 to the peopleH5971, and hallowed the peopleH5971; and they washedH3526 their clothesH8071. 15And he saidH559 to the peopleH5971, BeH1961 ready for the third dayH3117; do not come near [your] wivesH802. 16And it came to pass on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, when it wasH1961 morningH1242, that there were thunders and lightningsH1300 and a heavyH3515 cloudH6051 on the mountainH2022, and the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782 exceeding loud; and the whole peopleH5971 that wasH1961 in the campH4264 trembledH2729. 17And MosesH4872 broughtH3318 the peopleH5971 out of the campH4264 to meet with 1GodH430; and they stoodH3320 at the foot of the mountainH2022. 18And the whole of mount SinaiH5514 smoked, because Jehovah descended on it in fireH784; and its smokeH6227 ascended as the smokeH6227 of a furnaceH3536; and the whole mountainH2022 shook greatly. 19And the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782 increased and becameH1961 exceeding loud; MosesH4872 spokeH1696, and 2GodH430 answeredH6030 him by a voiceH6963. 20And Jehovah cameH5927 downH3381 on mount SinaiH5514, on the topH7218 of the mountainH2022; and Jehovah calledH7121 MosesH4872 to the topH7218 of the mountainH2022, and MosesH4872 wentH5927 up. 21And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, GoH3381 down, testify to the peopleH5971 that they breakH2040 not through to Jehovah to gaze, and manyH7227 of them perish. 22And the priestsH3548 alsoH1571, who come near to Jehovah, shall hallow themselves, lestH6435 Jehovah breakH6555 forth on them. 23And MosesH4872 saidH559 to Jehovah, The peopleH5971 cannot comeH5927 up to mount SinaiH5514; for thou hast testifiedH5749 to us, sayingH559, SetH6942 bounds about the mountainH2022, and hallow it. 24And Jehovah saidH559 to him, GoH5927, descend, and thou shalt comeH5927 up, thou, and AaronH175 with thee; but the priestsH3548 and the peopleH5971 shall not breakH2040 through to goH5927 up to Jehovah, lestH6435 he breakH2040 forth on them. 25So MosesH4872 wentH3381 downH3381 to the peopleH5971, and told them.
